I made a wall during lunch.

OMG thank you! There is no longer a reason to take sturctural modules out of a crate, one double click and all 10 were loaded into the schamatic at once.

I like it.

Anya I also had a Planes Cat eat my lunch while I was trying to check my harvestors too, unfortuanly it was a lunch I had already eaten an hour ago and it ripped into my body to get at it.

1- checked 5 med min harvesters..capacties at 50k each, power gone, rates displaying new cr/hr on power and maint.

2 - redeeded fine after paying maint with no power in some of them just fine.

3 - was able to re-place them in different locations and different resources with same capacties/rates

4 - power consumption was doubled after comparing calculations to actual usage per hour.

5- extraction rate was identical to calculted value accroding to display.

6- discard resources worked like a champ

7 - did NOT receive an email when harvesters where low on power or maintenance.

8- tried experimenting on new med min harvester. ended up with 44k hopper and 4 kg/hr rate with full experimentation for me (1 point-no construction tree skill yet)

9- crafted some crafting stations. Was still using artisan experimentation points. Was still able to achieve close to +11 with some 800something conductivity copper

10 created several personal harvesters. - granted gcxp instead of structural.

11 - restocked over 200 various structural/furniture/houseing/artisan items and only had 7 crit fails on Kauri.

12 - removed some vendor deeds and placed them. They had lowered capacities/rates

13- I can see stat changes from experimentation in both pre-patch and post-patch deeds (I experimented all pre-patch deeds )

14 - haven't tried factory yet, but did check status and power consumption and maintenance were not changed, but displays were now in cr/hr

15 - haven't checked any crate issues. I put my harvesters to replensih my ore resources and will check later.

Observations from last night....

Not only will a single "Double-Click" remove all 10 structure mods from a crate to put them in a wall schematic, if you take them out of the schematic it puts them back into theoriginal crate!

Harvester Spec Rates and capacities were all over the place, but doesnt matter because it looks as though they will all change again here shortly (based on info from TC). I did notice one Fusion that was in my pack had a spec rate of about 23 (!!!) and a capacity of over 400,000 (!!!). Wish I could routinely make those

A Couple of usefull icon changes for the survey tool... eg. The Flora and Mineral are no longet the same etc.

Nice color pallet changes in inventory screens

Slightly messed up Harvester Operation display.

Would like the "Empty" option moved away from the "Retreive" option on the harvester hopper screen.

#1 Double clicking a factory crate in my backpack no longer takes out one unit. - Havent checked this yet

#2 We are now able to split a factory crate - Yes, this works. I have also noticed that clicking on a factory crate no longer removes one item to your inventory, it actually puts it into the schematic. Also, one item left does not "auto" to one item in inventory. It maintains a factory crate of 1 item.

#3 Readouts for power no read in hours a min instead of the 1=60 hours display - I have noticed a x days display.

#4 There may be a change to capacities on harvesters ( after re-deeding ). I have not verified this but it looks true, we need to quantify this. - I have not noticed this, but I can only give information on prepatch harvestors. Here is the deal. I had a number of harvestors up before the patch. They all had the 100k capacity. before and after. I moved some/redeeded. When I placed them again, they still had the 100k capacity. Out of the three I redeeded, I am most certian that I did not experiment on more than one, if any.

#5 There may be a change to the power consumption rates depending on how good the harvester is ( we need to quantify this ) - I have noticed this to be true(at least the display) The heavy minerals I have up read 150/hour, and large amounts of energy loaded give me few days. I am not sure if this is a display issue or actual consumption rate. The three I set down yesterday at aprox 10:30 pm est, I placed 20k energy(radioactive). When I get home I will see what the actual rate is, although.. I don't know if I can calculate it correctly, because of the eff rating on the energy.. is that a factor now?

#6 There is what I first thought was a glitch in the graphics for power and capacity on the harvester display but that may be a graph showing how effective it is. Didn't notice it, but I may have missed it.

#7 There is now text when re-deeding telling you that you will reclaim your deed. - Yes, I have had this also.

Issues I have noticed...

The sound is gone from the harvestors. It seems to come back when the harvestor is swithced off then on(prepatch, preplaced). When redeeding the harvestor, and replacing, the old harvestor sound is not there. It seems to have been replaced by some strange eerie sounding one.

"10 created several personal harvesters. - granted gcxp instead of structural."

I am pretty sure this was done in a previous patch/hotfix. Last week I needed gxp and sat and make a pile of personal harvestors. Got gxp for them. Think this was one of those botched/mixed patch notes.

ok I did some extensive testing on my medium mineral harvesters. Everything I could think of that might break it.

the notes aren't in order, as I don't do notes that way, but here they are.

********NOTES*********

Medium Mineral Harvester deployed prepatch, running with power and maintenance.

redeeded and relocated - no problem

maint - 10550 Maint rate 60 cr/hr time showing 7days 7 hours 10550 / 60 = 175 175/24 = 7 remainder 7 or 7 days 7 hours. WORKING

power - 1901 reserves rate 100 cr/hr time remaining 19 hours 1900/100= 19 CORRECT DISPLAY, DOUBLE PRE-PATCH POWER USAGE -WAS 50 CR/HR.

Spec rate - 4Kg/H TYPICAL

Actual Rate - 2.06 Kg/H, Resource density at 51%

4*0.51 = 2.04 (Small discrepency in actual rate reporting ...likely due to numbers in calculations being rounded)

capacity at 50k - pre-patch quality after redeeding after patch and in use during patch.

no e-mail notification when power reserves depleted or when harvester reached less than 50% condition on maintenance.

WHILE HARVESTER IS RUNNING:

discard resource brings resource count to zero. must select the resource to discard

can select new resources on-the-fly, but if hopper is open, the newly selected resource does not show an icon, name or quantity until it is closed and reopened (Intermittent...some resources did show up while others only showed the "ghost bar" with zero quantity. After testing this for awhile, I came to the conclusion that the ghost bar occured only if the hopper was not "clicked on" between the time the new resource was selected and the time it appeared in the hopper (approx. 3-4 secs at 120 ping/5% PL)

Another thing about when the hopper is opened and the resource is changed, neither discard ,retrieve, or emtpy works until the hopper is closed and reopened. The select quantity and verify you want to do this windows still come up, just nothing is removed after hitting ok or cancel.

Once the hopper has been closed/reopened the resources that you hit discard/retrieve/empty are indeed gone, and the new resource icon and name shows up with a refreshed quantity.

WHILE HARVESTER IS NOT RUNNING:

Attempting to discard with no resource selected results in a "choose a resource to manage" pop-up. After selecting a resource and pressing discard, then hitting cancel at the choose amount pop-up, the process aborts normally. After selecting an amount, and pressing ok, a confirm pop-up is displayed. Canceling aborts to amoutn pop-up, and cancel deletes the resource from the hopper. VERIFIED WORKING

Discard works as planned by destroying ALL resources in the hopper simultaneously. confirm pop-up does appear. cancelling causes no ill effects.

retrieve works normally as before.

REDEEDING:

minimum maint statement comes up as before if maint is needed.

new maint statement stating that redeeding requirements have been met now shows if maint is paid up. (3k cr for a med min harvester) Still requires 2 destroys within 30 seconds of each other.

Deed appears in inventory normally. upon examine values list as follows:

before redeed:

maint: 10,550 power res: 1869 Maint rate: 60 cr/hr Power rate: 100cr/hr

EXAMINE DEED:

surplus maint: 7,550 surplus Power 1870 Storage Capacity 50,000 Base Extraction Rate: 4

AFTER RE-DEPLOYED:

maint 7,550 power: 1869 maint rate 60cr/hr Power rate: 100cr/hr Capacity still at 50k, spec rate: 4, Actua rate: 2.06, resource density 51%

HELP STATEMENTS & EMAIL:

All appear to be working except the discard help statement. It states that it will destroy ALL resources in the hopper, when in fact the empty hopper button does that, and for which there is no statement at all. Found no bugs during the help statement selections.

e-mails still arive for new construction.

I will check some of my pre-patch on-vendor deeds next to compare.

Just to clear something up that I've mentioned and that others are "disputing".

I wasn't getting an email saying that my stuff was low on maintenance or power, I was getting emailed saying that the Condition of the structure was nearing 0%, and it would go "poof" soon.

Not that us archi's have a lot of extra lots, but if you do, try slapping down a personal, put 50 power and maint in it, and start it up. in a day or so, you'll probably get an email saying that it's condition is degraded. It gives you a WP to where it is, and tells you what % it's at.

Note: Double Clicking a crate defaults to the "split" action, to "get item from crate" you must hold down and select this option.

more news as it comes, but the TC patch notes looks like they will take care of some of the really strange things we've seen, possibly even as soon as tomorrow.

couple more things

*update on medium mineral harvester power usage and display.

Checked power reserves at 5:09 = 1786 power reserve

Re-checked again at 5:39 = 1760 power reserve

*note* didn't check at exact same second, I figured + or - 1 minute would be close enough for this test.

power usage in 30 minutes was approximately 26 power units of less than 500 Potential Energy power source. this equates to approximately 50 units per hour which is/was the pre-patch levels.

Display for power consumption was in fact 100 units/hour.

I have the same results on all med min harvesters I put down on same resource with plenty of maintenance.

Factory update*

Same as the medium min harvesters, power usage is at pre-patch levels, and display is showing 100 units/hour.

double clicking crates in inventory, default action is to split.

Haven't had the "un-able to remove item from crate with a volume of 1" bug

double clicking a crate in the resource selection screen of crafting causes slots requiring the component in the crate to fill to required limits. (IE need 10 structure modules for a small house, one double click on a crate of the structure modules fills that requirement when there are more than 10 remaining in the crate. Less than ten places the remainder of the crate in the slot.)

All for now, still haven't got to the on-vendor/in inventory deeds.
