Exactly...make it some form of fusion power-cell that can be "payed" to the equipment as a power resource. At least that wouldn't be such a slap to Architects.

except if you read in thTC notes it says that those are a 1 time only deal. You can only get 1 harvester. So I don't see it hurting uss too bad. More of a minor convience then anything. Something some people will pay a ton of money for.

These harvesters will be tradable, so you could collect them. They could become the highest demand structure. I don’t want to have the structure vendor that has all the structures that customers don’t want to buy. They will want the loot/reward furniture/houses/harvesters.

As for how much it hurts our profession; we are dying the death of a thousand cuts.

I agree. Just look at other "rewards" that people have collected such as the anniversary paintings. People create the maximum number of accounts on different servers, collect all the rewards and trade them with other people who have done the same thing on their home server. It is not far fetched that there will be more than a few people who end up with large numbers of these things. It won't kill the demand for harvestors but it certainly won't help.


They shouldn't begiving out any item as loot/rewardthat infringes on something another class is supposed to be making as their trade.

The new rewards are per account. So that will kill off the cross server trading.

Yes they'll be tradablebut they'll still be very limited in number and therefore incredibly expensive. I don't worry one bit about this cutting into sales since only the uber rich will be able to buy these, becuase of their obvious value. Still leaving 99.99999% of the server needing harvesters.
