Harvesters give Structure Exp. Its only 4 to 1 for powerups only. Everything else is usually 2 to 1. If you don't have a lot of Minerals, you should make powerups.

Much as I wish you could keep the XP, this is the way it's supposed to work.

Hehe, I trained someone yesterday, he was eligible for any of the 4 first boxes in the artisan skill tree. I asked what he wanted, he said train all of them! So, I figured he had enough XP saved upfor all of them, but I only got through the first two on the list...he then said what he really wanted was business, I told him I couldn't train it and he said 'go ahead, I surrendered engineering 1'...hehe poor guy.

It tells you as soon as you learn it that it costs that many points. You might lose the crafting XP, but you're locked into that level until you decide to surrender it.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem....I am master dr level in all of the real dr skills wound healing, wound healing speed, and dr medical knowledge. It is just recently that i got to int dr crafting. I dont understand how people get crafting so fast...i refuse to waste time and resources on crafting 5000 bio effect controllers in a row to make the levels, it is such a waste its unbelievable and it doesnt have any correlation with being able to craft well. Considering i only get 60 crafting xp for every stim d i make there is no way that i could make enough useable things that would let me level up. Does anyone else have a problem with this at all or am i just out of theloop here, if so please advise me cause im starting to get really angered about not being able tomake revive kits....

I powercrafted Action Enhance Stim D's to get through the Craft tree the second time (Combat Medic) ..... I think for first time I actually power'd Stim C's for group hunting.

The scale is off if you craft anything higher than b level meds.

The extra charges and the extra power can = 15 times the med xp than the craft xp (the devs have told us it is 3:1 like it is supposed to be.. not true.. .their numbers are skewed.)

This is a problem across the board fro all medicines =/

so the only thing for me to do is load up on crap materials and sit for 2 hrs and spam craft bio controllers or the like?

Yea, that's what I had to do. Nearly got carpal tunnel from several sessions of clickity-clickity-click. I figure I made some 1600+ BEC's to close the last 2 boxes of med crafting. It really chomps. I'm very jealous of those Docs who got their exp before the factory nerf, that would have made it much more tolerable.

Well some docs got threw their crafting lvl PRE factory exp nurf. I myself did not have the advantage. I basically took it slow threw teh first 2.5 crafting lvls. Crafting enough for myself and very occasionally sell to someone.

For the last 1.5 lvls... I did grind out BEC using 3 boxes and the cheapest componets I could find.

I am in the same situation now with CM. Fortunatly CM requires slightly less exp in the crafting line AND the ranged stims give more exp cause they need more resouces to make.

I will still probably end up grinding out 1 or so lvls of crafting.

If you hate to do this...take things slow and eventually it will be threw. Afterall we do need meds all the time. Or you can start a business selling meds to others.

Either way good luck. And just remember this is really the only hard part of getting master doc. If our medical exp was not so easy to get we would have no problem maxing out med crafting. But unlike most other professions our Medical EXP is VERY low to get master. Thus, you have most people that max out healing exp before they get crafting done.
