If this existed from day one, the economy wouldn't have grown up as fast or as wide as it is now. While it's possible that we'd still have had numerous crafters (nowhere near as much as now), resource availability would make production lower, especially with crafter burnout. While I think we would all have been better off if they had kept the Miner class, it's a little late to turn the clock back. I'm hoping they make ships cost more than the rumors flying around, so we have a resource sink as well as a credit sink in the space expansion. How about a compromise idea and have to have at least novice artisan to place any medium or heavy?
