Well, no wonder that bug didn't affect me... I always use the precise amount of resources required for my run.

So there's no left overs.

You have never had the System Manufacturing Error_7 ??


If not and you do large runs in your factory that would add to my theory

I also always use exact numbers. I've never had a that error in my 1+ months of architecting lol (And never had a problem with my clothing factory either, if that bug is there too.)

I am not an architect but a WS and I have been getting this error for a while now ( I do 1000 item runs on subcomponents on a weekly basis).


I am guilty of making schems with far more uses than subcomponents in the ingredient hopper and dumping 100K blocks of resources in rather than the exact ammounts so my factory has probably got a whole family of Phantoms in it's output hopper.


If I rememebr to do so I will record the number of itmes the factory has made before the error each time it comes up and see if it changes after I have done a normal finished product run with my lazy man 1000 use schem to see if the phantom theory is indeed the answer (although secretly I think dvnce's theory is more than likely to be the right answer)

I love it when my factory stops making 440 items out of 1000, on its own, so i just restart it and it stops, so i empty the output hopper and start it again, it stopsafter making 220 items, so i empty and start it again and it stops after making 110 items, so i empty and start it again and it stops after making 60 items...........

I did a test 2 days ago upon first reading this. I ran 1000 lamps out of some grind on a newly planted factory.


Factory still stopped at 67 crates in the output hopper.

I do big runs, but I don't do runs often. Wednesday I did a run of 900 struc modules in one fact, and 1000 in another. I admit I haven't checked the factories since the run started, because I had no sales, so I had no reason to go near my shop. But it's not the first time I did a run of 1000 things. I did a double run of 1000 struc modules 3 weeks ago, without any problems. I did 3 runs of 20 paintings, 3 runs of 20 lamps... I did 100 turbines recently... I'll admitI moved my factories 2 weeks ago, but I only did two or three runs on each since they moved.

Well.. I still think that Expirmentation effects this too.. cuz I have used the worst possible resources no exp.. and the Best with full exp.. and I see a difference... so .. I just think this new discovery may be only one peice to the puzzle..
