yes
since most my lots are taken up by factories atm i have to buy my ore
the main seller i used to go to sold it for 2cpu, a decent price. as of late however it has been selling out before i can get there to buy any, needless to say, wall production for me has slowed down and all i make now is stuff when ordered, just to be safe.

At the moment on Lok on Chimaera there is 2 or 3 different types of Ore currently spawned. As i have some of my harvestors and another guild member as well harvesting for me as i need loads of ore.

The new fermionic ore added for jtl spawns in concentrations as high as 96% (that I have found), and stays productive twice as long as most spawns. It's only on one planet at a time, though, so come early. I surveyed on Talus (I'm on Bloodfin) on my way to pick up my harvestors from a spawn that poofed and found a giant empty field of >90% hardened steel, also one of the new resources. I picked up the harvestors and came back to drop them on the new site and in the space of three minutes three people had arrived and were turbo-dropping heavies. No tears for me, please: I missed the 97% spot, but still got down six in the 94-95% range.
And, my bad--somehow while the other people were dropping their harvestors I distubed a nearby lair of famished sludge panthers. Having no combat myself, I had to hop on my swoop and run. How awful--the fsp's aggroed the other guys.

Ore is a royal pain...
The cap at around 65%...
The fact that anything over 50% can be very hard to find...
Lower concentrations raise the CPU to harvest the ore...
It seems to cycle as quickly, or perhaps even more quickly than anything else...
Any one of those would be tolerable, if it wasn't for the fact that darn near everything we make takes boatloads of ore! And what does the latest crafting profession added to the game take? You got it... even more ORE (along with Steel, of course)!
Anyone who is an architect knows the ol' 50K-200K magic Metal-Ore ratio for making a factory run of Structural modules. 1000 structural modules and even more ore turn into 100 wall modules which a busy architect can go through in the blink of an eye...
The result? Nobody wants to sell ore for any reasonable CPU even for grind quality stuff.Heaven help you if you need ore with stats! If you're buying ore, your prices must rise by necessity. With the solo group nerf, there is less money to spend, so welcome to stagflation, folks!
With all the factors stacked against ore, if I were vending resources, why would I want to sell Ore at all? Steel is in high demand, even after the initial JTL rush-to-master-shipwright and is far easier to find in good concentrations. Spending all the time and expense (re-deeding) to chase crappy concentrations of ore is not good business, especially in these times when people seem to have less to spend. I know on my resource vendor, I never sell ore. It is too hard to get, takes to long to accumulate usable portions of it, and it is far too dangerous for me to run out of ore than to not sell it.
In my opinon, something has to give... Either keep ore's behavior as it is but let it run substantially longer before cycling, out or have it behave more like metals in its concentration layout. That will make an ore-vendor a much more feasible business proposition, which will be of immense help to architects and shipwrights.

Because of this I'm thinking of leaving the game of late. Just no time to play like I would like. But I hate to do it after playing for the pass year.
