Yes I believe that is the same bug.. I can reproduce it on demand almost all day long heh. But i do love when it happens when I am at a starport and can walk through the wall to the outside with 3 chars at once (1 lead and 2 following) and can just walk straigh in the door and right out the wall heh. Not that I am an exploiter.. I usually stick to the wall to position the two following before going further into the starport without having to switch over to the others. I would rather see it fixed somehow than be able to continue to do it personally heh.

I wonder if this is in any way related to the bug where you occasionally see someone (or yourself) moving around in a building but they're half buried in the floor and it looks like they're riding a mount (but there's no mount).
I've only seen it a few times and I've never been able to reproduce it on demand.

I just got a new one tonight.
I was in my guild hall and walked around the elevator area to go outside.
As I rounded the corner to the front area, I was suddenly warped into the "void" of the elevator shaft.
I was floating in space and all I could see were the upper and lower elevator shafts.
Position-wise I was still located near the front door but I was completely stuck.
I didn't try an /eject but instead I rotated the camera around until I could see the elevator button and went to the lower floor. It put me in the bottom elevator and from there I went on about my business.
Freaky.
Gotta love the 'unique features' this game has
