Thread: Lots-Why so few?
I'm not an architect yet. But I had planned on being both and Architect and a Merchant. I'd like my own Large House on my main planet and maybe a Small House as a Shop on antoher planet. I can't figure out how I could ever afford to do this. I'll have 3 lots left for harvestors/factories/power.......
If what all you are saying is true, I'll never make enough money to buy the resources I need or be able to harvest enough resources to build anything to sell......
Anyway, I think they should add 1 lot per Construction Tree level, but we would have to BUY it from the empire still - maybe for 100k-500k credits? These additional lots should be for HOUSING ONLY. It would not be as fair for us to have 15 Harvesting lots.
If we surrender the skill in the future - itshouldn't let us unless we empty and surrender a lot as well.

Ok, I did some thinking on this and after I found out the lot requirements for harvesters and the like there is a solution... sort of. Sure give Architects more lots. However, change the lot requirements for harvesters. Personals use 1 lot, have the mineral mining installation use 2 slots, but pulls more than 2/3/4 Personals, and have the Large ones take up 4 slots, but pulls slightly more than 2/3/4 mineral mining installations. This would significantly cut down on the "Harvestor Fields"
Sorry but that totally defeats the entire purpose of upgrading to large harvesters.
Why would I build 7 walls with 6 of them being identical for a heavy miner if I have to use 4 lots instead of 1?
No they need to make the havesters more efficiant than they are now.
small = 2
medium = 4
large = 10
Going from a medium minerto heavy miners is a HUGE resource hog. Right now I can literally build another PA Hall with the walls I am assembling to buildingonly 2 heavy harvesters.
Most people who do not craft will not use up all their slots. They will continue to hunt and not bother with putting down harvesters to mine resources for architects. Only if you have some VERY dedicated friends will they let you use their slots.
Of course Sony would like you to buy another account to get more slots, but that really isn't fair is it. As you progress up the architect line you should get more slots. Plain and simple. Capping the max at 25.
When I buy resources, it's always from a crafter who has extra. There are very few characters "mining" for a living. Architects shouldn't have to depend on a class that doesn't exist.
