Hueable furniture = Colored furniture.

Difference between master and non-masters would be a Gameplay issue (IMO)

Will add "extra lots" as part of the wishlist.

As far as posting that in the "exploits" section, this is posted everywhere in the Architect forum and I consider it common knowledge.

oo yes i agree with the post above me... would be superb if we could craft the faction stuff.. maybe people could pay faction points for a one time usuable schematic we could use to make it for them?

Geez!!! ArchAngel!!!! Its like you went into my mind and most other dedicated architects in SWG and put it on paper. Well not really paper. So many good points I have no idea where to start.

First of all I had posted something about the holocron thing in the jedi forum. Crafters have to pay excessive amounts of money to get one. I myself only have 1million cr which seems like quite a bit of money but with the fact that I buy my resource at an estimated 3cpu I really dont get much in return. Nice to see someone up top look out for the little guy(crafters).

Secondly, nice concept with the critical failures. I really hate it when I get 2-3 fails in a row and lose all my resource. Even worse I have to tell my clients that I have fallen behind because of it. If we could get the components back that would save a lot of time.

And finally, experimenting on structures should matter. Not only that I would also like to add some color to structures but I will go back to the experimenting. Armorsmiths, weaponsmiths, and DEs all have reputations. On bria if you want a good gun you go to origins or tortilla. If you want good armor you go to berena. And if you want a good bot you go to tasaii(even though all the bots arent very good at them moment). Yet, how are architects given recognition? By the prices and since the latest patch harvesters. Still an architect cannot be known for his all around work. Which is why we need to figure out something to balance out the economy like structure decay. This way by experimenting a house can last longer or shorter or something else I was thinking about was experimenting on storage capabilities.

I don't want to put a bullet in any of those hopes there, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much for storage space. I don't know what the database status is like, but it's most probably a high priority. So increasing storage or lots will most probably not occur anytime soon, if ever. It's one of the few things I would put money on.

For the whole furniture thing....I agree...the whole system for placing different items is crazy. Maybe it would be a good idea to place furniture the same way you do structures. Then you won't get stuck pushing something across a room to find out it's an invalid spot. Also they should incorporate a way to put different furniture at angles....I haven't figure out a way to do it, and I dont' remember seeing any around. Naboo/Generic/Corellian houses have round/oval rooms and we should be able to place different pieces of furniture so that they face the way we want em to. Another good example to what I'm talking about would be placing a bookcase at an angle in a corner. Maybe you can do some of these things and I just haven't figured out how to do them....

Anways...that's my suggestion

wonderful post, very to-the-point. i think the only other think to add that haven't really been mentioned is that it would be nice to get more variety of housing to work with (after altering the Corellian plans to differentiate from the Generic plans of course).

and "hueable" can it be extended somewhat to housing as well? rather than just furniture. perhaps just being able to shade and tint the colors a little (eg. zero experimentation = low saturation colors, highest experimentation = brightest hues)

While additional lots for architects would be a godsend, they may be unwilling to go that route, as people could simply stay in their small houses and just use those slots to drop more harvesters, which they may not want to allow. However, a more viable option for them may be one that has been discussed recently, that being that architects be allowed 1 primary residence of any size that would only take up 1 lot.

I'll add huable houses to the list, but I don't know how good they might look. In the end however, I think that houses do need overall variety. I'll definitely mention it.

Great job archangel!

Here is one additional minor bug. I can reproduce it 100% of the time.

Open up the structure factory ingrediant hopper and add ingrediants. The hopper space usage (1/100) increases but the icon for the added ingrediant does not appear. Click on the change view button and the added ingediants still do not appear in the list. Click on the change view again to go back to the icon view and the ingrediants appear.

Yeah the hopper has been acting weird lately, but I assumed it to be intentional. I'll add it to my list.

Hello

I want to thank you for all your hard work keep up this daunting task hopefully the DEVS will pat attn to this and take action i am really getting tired of being over looked in the profession some of these bugs were in Beta 3 and still present today

what makes my Jaw drop is that amount of time that it takes to fix some of these issues they seem to procrastinate on them seems all they care about is Nerfing us to Death like the Item decay when you die. This going to hurt the crafting profession the most we (At lest me) get Incap or killed sometimes several time a day while trying to Place harvesters or even just maintain them i carry lots of resources on me as all my tools so that way if I'm off my home planet i can build things for people on the Go thus now i will have to leave everything at home

as for leaving all the items at home i have 3 house full of minerals and factory crates just to run the company i started i do very well for myself thus i have lots of things this way i can build a PA hall in less that 20 mins most times i think crafter homes such as master architect or just crafter in general should have higher Item counts allowed in their houses this way we can display all items of furniture we can make (Great selling strategy) and have lots of room for all of our resources

Just a thought
