Heres a question....
Do the plug-ins in the crafting stations actually do anything?? If so....what?

You are right, Kissalicious, until you did, none of us answered the original poster's second question. And I can offer no proff to them helping with experimentation either. But I can say that it seems to give better results. But no real scientific data to back that up. I can also say that I sell enough of these high-end stations that others get that impression as well. And I have some of the top crafters on Chilly buying these from me...even though they only beat the previous best by 0.004, and beat my previous best by 1.02. I will not say that they do make a difference, because I cannot prove it...but others seem to think it does.

That is on Radiant, with the very best materials I have managed to come across and scrounge up, as well as hand-crafting each and every one of the sub-components myself (micro processor suits, control units, droid storage compartments).

I'm working on trying to get a super high station. Highest con copper is gonna be a polysteel copper. Highest I've seen on Kettemoor is 998. Was totally floored. Tried to make some good stuff with it, but other components held it back, so... back to the drawing board.
