The dark troopers in the detainment center are located in one of the back rooms.

Does anyone know where an imperialcan loot them from? I can't justify killing my fellow man for some tables

those things drop in bunches at one of the imperial POIs on Talus - just FYI -

They used to on our server, but hours of farming has produced very few of them. The server is fubar.

I am selling those for50K to 60K a piece and buying the shematics for15K to 20K ... not that much profit if you concern all the travelling needed to get them ... but I like having a few of them in my vendor since I think that those are very nice pieces of furniture.
