When you go to visit the artists they will not tell you specifically what type of painting they do. They will give you a vague hint like saying they paint flora or whatever. But you can kind of get the idea what type of painting they'll do. And there is nothing really to do with the artists but talk to them. You just have to visit all 3 and then go back to the curator and tell him which one you want.

According to a report in Pawlin's 9th painting thread, Chimaera is also suffering this problem, but I'm not on Chimaera, so I can't confirm.

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned the server I play on but Valcyn doesn't have a picture hanging in the curator's office.

the museum curator on infinity does not give the dialogue option to purchase a schematic.Although the voting cycle seems to still be working on its normal timer.
It has been like this for some time now, i have sent in a bug report and a csr ticket from which i got a reply saying that it was a known issue and was to be looked into.

I've just come from the museum on Infinity, didn't get the option to buy a schem and I sent a bug ticket too.
The temptation to flood them with bug tickets is very strong but then they might just take it away altogether
And I think Lilas is secretly laughing at me.

I do wish when we go to the Artists Questto speak with them, instead of the basic (and stupid)conversation we have with each artists, we actually get to SEE what their working on... I would love to see the Sclupture,the Landscape, or the Plant Paintings. I was just so very disapointed when I went there to speak with them,and all they had to say was some bizzar/cryptic message about what the do as artists. *YAWN* I want the time back it took to go talk to these clowns. Common' Dev's, there's not enough art in the game as is, loosen that Vader grip ya'll have and let some "goodies" slip through your fingers!.....

Chimaera has gotten the problem as well. It might be the server dont like Mon Cal paintings, since Mon Cal 2 just came in, and was available as a schem for a day (juhu!! I got lots of schems this time).
Mon Cal Eye 1 was in round 9 and bugged as well. I hope this problem is going to get fixed,.since Mon Cal 1 is probably rearer than the Endor landscape atm.

Well, apparently we'll have a new painting on Infinity in "less than a day". Any news on whether this one should actually work, or should I not bother and assume that the painting will simply be bugged again?
