Thread: Question on what Architects look for in resources
Two accounts, no PA, no extra lots.
I buy walls from novices at 9k each...have 3 steady suppliers right now. I make 30-40 heavys a resource shift, and my backlog usually runs 2 days. With a volume this high the "cost" of making schematics each shift is pretty low per harvester, so I can make a decent profit with a lower than average price (though still higher than 3cr a unit).
I haven't worn an architect title in weeks because I'm as busy as I want to be. Once in a while I email someone on my server board thats looking for heavys if it looks like I have time to make what they want, but other than that my business has been repeat customers (mostly miners), and word of mouth.
I know this volume isn't going to last forever, but I'm enjoying it while it does ![]()
What I would pay for a resrouce unit would not be worth your time and effort.
Archetects want bulk, and there is no way I would ever pay over 2 cr per resreouce and I would cringe doing that. It is too close to what I sell a finished product for, I would have to be desprate.
Never been desprate.

Dont bother trying to sell ressources to architects. I had a small mining buisness as well, and
architects just arent reliable when it comes to buying resources. They will tell you they buy all
amounts of ore and metall, but thats just talking, rarely will anyone ever buy something no matter how cheap you sell it. Had to close down my buisness as I was mining lots and lots of ore and metal and no one bought it, although they first all told me they'd gladly buy it...
Please don't generalize all Architects as being unreliable. I'm sure most of us architects are equally responsible in our business dealings. I for one don't tell people I can buy "all amounts of ore" since thats a commitment I can't keep. I only order what I can and do buy. Maybe you took someone too literally?
