Again, if you're going to do the vendor thing, ensure that you create the vendor in the Hall itself, not a house. I have already verified that using the 'Create Vendor' option from my home has caused the vendor to be undroppable/untradeable/undestroyable by our Hall owner.

Please let us know if the vendor you create in the Hall actually functions properly.

I think that if not being able to pick up and drop as an admin is a bug then it needs to get fixed, or if it is on purpose then the devs need to rethink this. Now in real life a single person does not go out and buy a 5 bedroom house so why would anyone in the galaxies? You should buy large and medium houses with the intent of sharing them with friends, but if they cant do anything but look at it, walk around in it, and help you pay for it why would anyone want to be in that kind of deal???

DEVS READ THIS:

A PA memeber and I were talking about this very problem today, and here is our answer.

There should be a option on the structure radial menu to allow you to add ppl to drop/pickup, that way you dont have to give alot of ppl admin rights. Then, when someone drops something, there should be an option on the items radial to make public/private, just like a house. Default to privite,it isjust decoration, make public, a PA member can grab it. I think this is the best solution.

Please comment.

[QUOTE]Frankly, we made a booboo and committed an oversight. There were exploits related to trading vendors, so we closed the loophole without realizing the implication of the broken house admin permissions. The result was a major nerf to merchant house-sharing. I do not have an ETA on a fix, because we are trying to devote the server programmers to stability 100% of their time right now--we see that as the biggest issue we need to resolve.
That said, we also uncovered bugs in how houses are working. Players were only supposed to get one house unless they were merchants. Well, that's clearly blown now. We do have to be very careful about item limits in SWG, so we are looking at probably setting house storage caps per house size, rather than it being a flat 250 for any house, like it is now.

And from a player-

To transfer ownership of a buildings you target the building, or control terminal in the case of a house. With the person you are giving it to nearby type /transferstructure NAME OF PERSON. The building will be moved to thier lots and they will then own it, In the case of something like a harvester you are removed from the access list, so if moving your harvesters to a friends lot they will need to give you access back to them.
