Thread: Does anyone else feel like things haven't really improved for the Architect?

I "failed" about 4-5 heavies in about the 30 I made. Usually "failure" is the difference between a BER 13 and a BER 12. There is only one harvester that I havemade using BER 13 materials that has yeilded something underneath 12 due to an experimentation failure (and I'm using no skill tapes or anything).

I was experimenting on apotential BER13 Heavy. Usinga 97% ore mining unit, I started with a BER10 after assembly, experimenting up, I encountered 3 failures in a row at the end that brought the finall heavy at BER9 at the end.

Well, iwasnt happyabout the failure but foundthe end product funny and was laughing at it

Higher extractions rates dont help the architect class at all, it just allows us to flood the market faster with things that last forever. We see a huge upswing in sales because of player cities, but that will be short lived.

Well.... here's the deal. Things are better... we have more experimentation points, our harvs are better. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with the class. The maintenance bugs are what's killing us right now. I liked the idea of having to pay more maintenance for higher producing harvesters, that's a swell idea.

However, everyone that's complaining about failing efficiency experimentation in final production... all I can say is.... make a manufacturing schematic. Yes, before you say it... I know.. that'll require a HUGH amount of resources... I get that. But, that's the way it goes.

Yes, it DOES suck for the single account Architect, I have to get help from my friends to be able to produce enough resources to do something like this... but, if you want to be in business... you have to figure out how tomake it work.

I don't remember who said it (above) about complaining to the devs to fix it, but he/she's right... restructure your business model to something that works. The only complaint that we have to the devs right now is... HEY!... my maintenance costs are all out of whack... the harvesters aren't animating properly!... the status isn't updating properly...!... ad nauseum...

Ok... I'm shutting up now.

My husband and I both play. I am a Master Architect and he is a Master Droid Engineer. With the current DE bugs, complaints, I have to say that I am very happy with our profession. At least the devs have been giving us Architects something right now to work with. DE's are being told "Over the next 4 (!!!! 4??!!!) months, we are working on it". 4 months? Give me a break. DE's are looking at waiting until Feb. before anything really useful is done to their profession. I say, if your really unhappy with Architect, play a Master DE for a few weeks!

another senseless silly thing is when u experiment on storage and get crit on it, that also the rate goes down :/

if i am done with rate and go on storage experiment, then a crit only should affect the storage but not the other expery tree
