Thread: Serious bug? Harvesters pulling half resources?

I had my fusion running on 84% radioactive for 24 hours and only got 7000 or so, should be much higher. going to check again tonight, and I moved a heavy over to compare the two.


Something does seem fishy

i am having this half resource problem with all my harvestors .



does anyone know what to do to fix it - thats if it can be fixed

Ok, I think that I'm getting this bug myself. I replanted my harvesters a few days ago and since then it seems as if I'm only getting maybe half the resources that I ought to be. I have several BER10 and BER13 minerals on a spot of 65-68% steel for several days now and only have like 29k in the heavy hoppers. Thats not right, should be around 56k for 3 days worth. Its the best steel I've seen for a couple months too.

I have all kinds of weird harvester bugs. I will line up 10 Ber 13 heavies on all the same % or 1% off usual. I put EXACTLY 10 days matience and 10 days power in them. Ill come back in 4 days to check up on them and some have like 4000 less matience then the others some have less power then the others and some have less resources. It's a Trixsy bug that needs to be investigated more.

I haven't noticed anything untoward on any of mine or on the ones I am minding for a friend, but I have noticed discrepancies in the past where harvs have been placed either side of a server line (you can tell these when your bike leaps 20 feet in the air as you drive over them). On one side they pull about right, on the other side they pull less.


I'd put it down to a syncronisation error - but with server lines, weird stuff happens all the time. Its the SWG equivalent of the bermuda triangle in some places.Stuff just disappears, then reappears after restarts, where houses can store over 400 items at a time and only register 18 items, where statues vanish into thin air and appear 20m away and then pop back again .


So harvs pulling less (or more) than they should? I'm not surprised in the least.

Just checking back in with this thread. Since having this problem I haven't moved my harvesters. I went from steel, to ore, and now to iron in the same spot. I had the problem with the ore on a couple harvesters near the beginning of the shift. The last few days of ore mining, everything was pulling what it should. I'll see if I have any problems with the iron.


Too bad other people are having this problem. I was hoping it was just a very rare thing that happened to me. Seems like it's not very isolated though.

Little more data.. I had put my harvesters down a few days ago and only seemed to get about 50% of what I thought I ought to have. (as said above) So I tested out the production from 2 harvesters, one of which I redeeded for the test and the other I left where it was. I noted the amount in the hopperand then went away for about an hour. When I came back both of them had the correct amount in the hopper for about 80 minutes of production. So at least it seems they are not consistently under producing.


So this might have been a problem that occurred temporarily for a few days ago. Or maybe something is happening when the server is reset?
