Thread: 33k general crafting exp for Novice Architect
I got to eng 4 using muzzles before the nerf. Once I could make heavy axes, I gound it out using those. 80XP each.
You get 2XP per resourcce used. So just find out what resources you have the most of and start grinding. I did mine with the bone armor helmet until I got Eng IV then went to the chest plate. On practice mode and with the subcomponents they are worth a little over 600XP/per. It just uses an insane amount of hide. I think each plate uses 115 hide.
Also you may want to get Master Artisan too. There are a fair amount of components that an Architect uses that have to be crafted by a Master Artisan.
Once I hit architect I've been making generator turbines for XP. They are used in a number of things and are parts of a couple mechanisms so you'll need them anyways. They are worth 3k XP so it's a good investment. Also wall modules are used frequently so I'd recommend them too.
When combat mission payed good. I would take one. Slay every creature i could there and on the way back. Get another mission. If i needed to heal i built the tent, sat in it and crafted more tents. Repeat. Eventually Id get beat down and have to sit in the cantina. This is where i grinded tents from the bones and hides. Run to medical center. Grind more tents.
While this is taking place i havea personal harvester on ore. And one on a metal. This process took a lot longer to get to novice, but once i did I had a good bit of ore and metal to make houses with. 5 to be exact and i didnt just waste a ton of resources and spend tons to get there.Set up more harvesters and build small homes till you get to medium harvesters then make yourself a fleet of mineral miners.
if your a combatant also, and not neutral, then just go to your respective faction place for your side, do those missions till you get lots of fp for whatever use, then you have money to buy resources
