That has to be the most stupid thing I've every heard! (And I don't mean Dharma812 is stupid). Why the heck would I have to be a Community Veteran just to be able to correct typo's in my posts? Mad, absoultly mad.

Nope, I can't edit my reply post. Maybe you can only edit the start of a new thread?

It has just occured to me, being the suspicious character that I am. This is a great idea, long overdue, should have been there from the start.
BUT, are we going to see a new trend ? I am thinking specially in the trade forums where auctions are now commonplace, suddenly you can edit, you lost at the last minute ? Edit with higher bid to win.
You went in with a very high price to start, nobody else bid ? Edit with lower bid to save money.
Looks like new rules for auctions are going to have to be Introduced...

1. Edit times are recorded and displayed in each post, your scenario shouldnt be a problem.
2. It seems post count has nothing to do with CV status, only your registration date.

LOL - nice indeed. I can see the reason for Length of Time though, would prevent someone saying something totally offensive and then editing it out. I guess people with a long(er) track record would have "proven" not to be this type of poster.

The current vote on valcyn is that you have to have 10000 minutes on the boards...I"m testing that now, only 30 to go
