Sorry I'm not an architect, but just my 2 cents. Why didn't they make it so that architects build the rebel and imperial bases? Those things are gonna get destroyed when things get fixed so they are able to. Having a base is key to the galactic struggle so each side is gonna wanna build one backup. For those of us using houses as warehouses and market places, I'm sure we would have the money to pay for decay on houses, but many a casual gamer or those that got it just cause they have the money would not want a house anymore. You talk of combat classes, but your customers are not just combat, many I think are also the casual gamer/businessman that had to save up and was able to get a small house and is now waiting to get enough money maybe for a medium. I am looking forward to having a medium someday, but if they did this then I would just stick with a small for purposes of warehousing. My friends I'm sure would drop their houses since they don't need to use it as warehouses. My furniture would go out the window as well. I already pay maintenance for the house and harvesters and the factory, isn't that why I pay maintenance? I sitll provide architects with business as I'm just starting to have the funds to purchase large harvesters. I think there are still many out there looking to upgrade harvesters as well. Don't also forget that some will start players on more than 1 server and go from novice on up and end up buying stuff all over again. Also, it seems like the thing they should provide is special architect quests for new schematics so you can build some more stuff but have to do some hard missions that might require some help to get it.

For clothes, an idea here is since there is supposed to of been stuff added to them from BEs (but currently broken) you could get clothes that give bonuses and have these bonuses decay in time to 0. That way you would get clothes for more than looks, the BE makes the stuff so it's not like the sockets that require finding the right attachment, and both tailors and BEs become friends andan important part of the economy.

Why oh why did I take the only 2 crafting professionsthat don't get decay any time soon and therefore have no future? I'm not sure if I should go on grinding to master and considering another profession while waiting for the urban planner. Why do weapons and armor decay while clothing, furniture and structures don't? That's simply unfair.

And of course decay is going to raize the demand and prices. Did you hear about weaponsmiths and armorsmiths lowering their prices?
