By the way, I did turn a number of people away. Once word got out about these stations, I heard from two types of people, and they were pretty easy to determine which ones were which.
Type 1
Customer: I heard you have good stations, how much?
Me: 500K each
Customer: OK, I'll take two sets
Type 2
Customer: I heard you have good stations, how much?
Me: 500K each
Customer: Ohhh, I'll have to save up for a few days. Can you hold one for me?
Me: Crafting station quality has been tested and proven to have almost no benefit. These are mostly showpieces for the ultra-wealthy. You're just as well off seeing *name of another architect on Bria* and buying one from them for 10% as much
And sometimes I'd hear from a Type 2 customer and end up talking to them. They seemed like nice people, we chatted for a while, and they ended up getting their stations for FAR less than what I was charging other people. There was no overriding profit motive here. If there had been, I would be producing every last station I had materials for and would probably charge more than 500K each. They would eventually sell.
