I haven't downloaded your sheet yet so don't know if this is there, but in the Origional version, I extended the capability to include a shopping list based on the quantities you have to make. i.e. This will produce a complete list of resources needed (and quantities) for what ever you enter a quantity in. Very useful for planning out factory runs of harvesters and furniture.
I'll look yours over and see if you need this, if so I'll send you the script used to create the list (it uses a VB macro)
I just wanted to say that this ROCKS!
I was just about to start figuring out prices for everything and was dreading it.
However, I am still not able to get the include schematics button to work either. When I change the value to Y and then put in 1 Heavy Mineral Harvestor it says I only need 2 ore mining units when in reality I would need three in order to produce to identical units.
Same with the generator turbine and small structure storage modules.
It does the same with high capacity flora farms. I haven't tested anything else yet, but they all seem to be excluding the manufacturing schematics. Do I have to clear something out or do something special before I change the value to Y?
I also noticed that the High Capacity Flora Farm says I need 2 Harvesting Mechanisms and 3 heavy harvesting mechanisms. I'm at work so I can't check, but for some reason I though you only need 2 Heavy Harvesting mechanisms and no regular harvesting mechanisms.
I might be wrong though.
I also can't get the factory run-time page to work. No matter what date or time is there (I did it first with the date and time that was already entered), it gives me a completion date of #NUM!
I'm not good with excel so it is very likely I'm just not doing something correctly.

Give me some time today and I'll check out both these problems. Are you using Excel? Which version?

Ok I fixed the problems with the Y/N entry not working. Somehow I got the formulas messed up, so I guess no more cutting and pasting ![]()
The Run-Time Page....I don't know what's going on there.#NUM! is an error code, which means that the formula isn'tcalculating properly.
I've run this program on 3 different PC's (2 at work 1 at home) all have different versions of Microsoft Excel and they work. If you can let me know if you're running Excel or not that may be the problem.
The updated program with the fix to the Y/N bug is uploaded.
Thanks for the error spotting!
I am running excel, but the version here at work is pretty old. I'll try it at home again when i get a chance because that version is newer. I'll go get the newer fixed version first and let you know.
Looks great! I'm brand new at this and I've run into people asking me prices and I have to go through the schematic and add everything up and try to price it. I accidentally quoted 50,000 to someone for a heavy mineral harvestor not realizing I had forgotten to multiply the resources by three. Yesterday someone asked for a price and I gave it to them in a heartbeat! It was great! thanks a lot!

I think I'm seeing an error in the Deep Crust Chemical,Heavy Natural Gas, and High EfficiencyMoisture components list. For each one of these harvesters it's calculating in bothFluidic Drilling Pumps ANDTurbo Fluidic Pumps. They only use Turbos. This is with version 1.2 using Excel 2003.
AAAHHHH!!!! Wow I thought I had caugt all the problems. You're right it was counting both. The version that's up as of 8:45 AM on 5/12 is fixed.
Thanks for the catch.

Glad you took this on and not me
You're doing a great job. However
I think I got another for ya...
The manufacturing schematic y/n option does not appear to be calculating things right... or maybe it is and it's not doing what I want or least understanding how it's intended to work. Inputed a quantity of 40 for Deep Crust Chems with the option set to n. Shows everything appropriatly, ie: 80 Trubo Pumps, 160 SSSMs...
Now, change the option to y and it adds40 to that number. Shouldn't it add only the number needed to plunk into the crafting of the schematic? In this instance, shouldn't it be 82 Turbo Pumps.. 80 for the factory combine and 2 for the schematic creation? And it's not just Turbo Pumps but all items that add 40. Also happening with other harvesters as well.
Ok.. after doing some more testing, some harvesters are not even effected by the y/n option. Chem Extractors... inputed 40 there, and using the option y/n the number of components never changed and you have to have identical components on most of the stuff.
/comfort VelRahn... Sorry!
