Was the skill itself worth the resources? No.
Will the second character slot unlock be worth it? Yes.

That is pretty much what I am hearing. I may take a weekend and enough resources to make my own fingers bleed though, the drive back and forth and the horrible return on XP is making me insane. I have tried to take a high road of sorts and previously only went when I was capped through my normal crafting activities. /sigh stupid SOE and their conversion rates, I love how folks discovered a way to fight their way to jedi with grenades and such and crafters and non combatants are left in the cold again.

Oh, you'll never get there by doing your "normal" activities.

I have been mining the JTL ore every chance I got and then buying enough gemstone to grind it all.
Then I'd camp at the village until I had burned through it all.

It takes about 40 statues to cap xp.
With double XP week, that number was reduced to 20 so I just went and bought a billion resources.
Not only did I get double xp for the statues, I got double FS xp so for that one week the ratio was effectively changed from 1:35 to 1:8.75

Well that sucks. Stupid me for not taking advantage of it. I had kept hearing that 2x XP was only for combat and had remembered seeing some dev post to that effect or something. I was too busy moving all of my vendors and guild out of a suddenly failed PC metropolis. On the upside I founded my own city, complete with mall, so ill delete my toon before I go the pain in the ass of moving my 4k items to a new planet again.

The funny thing about the double xp is that it did not appear to be giving double FS xp.
It told me I was getting about 6k xp every time I cashed in, but the xp monitor showed that I was getting about 12k xp.

That caused me to miscalculate how much material I needed and I bought too much.

How did you get master FS Crafter with the ridiculous conversion rate for Architect?!?

I reskilled my jedi back when they changed the jedi system (patch 9 i think) taking FS crafting tree's as I was an old unlock and had gotten bored with jedi so decided to put him to some constructive use

FS Crafting Mastery is seperate to the point system when people say they are 12pt this means they have obtained skill tapes to increase their crafting abilities for example

master Architect has 100 points of both experimentation and assembly this architect would be 10pt

to get to 12pt you would need 20 experimentation points obtained from skill tapes the same can be said for assembly tapes

FS Crafting skills are obtain from the village of aurillia having been using these FS crafting tree's since there implementation I have found them to be of great help and makes a crafters life so much easier altho tbh it is overkill for a Master Architect as we only really experiment on harvesters n candles but being a dedicated crafter I would not part with these skillsever

I am going to say a definate YES! It is worth going for the +12 as long as you use it to your advantage.

With the new vendor search I tried a little expirement. I made a run of 20 BER10 minerals - I named them somthing like "Deed For: BER10 Mineral Harvester by Freud" then I ran batch of 20 and named them "Deed For: BER10 Mineral Harvester 60k Storageby Freud"

I sold out of the ones the first day where I had the hopper size and it took 2 or 3 days to sell the other out. Both had the same hopper size but how I positioned it made them sell. Had I not been a +12 architect I never would have been able to achieve the increased hopper sizes which do seem to sell at a faster rate.

Use it wisely and I believe it can pay off for you.

It makes sense that people would want larger hoppers. Simply because it means that you can pay less attention to "harvie emptying". However, if youre like me, where when I first put down some harvies, left them and came back and found them on fire, my habit leans towards checking them a little more often. How fast they fill up depends on the BER and the concentration of the resource where you lay the harvie. So if youre like me, and look forward to chekcing your harvies no less than every 4 days, harvie size doesnt matter. When it comes down to it, extra harvie size is not going to significantly increase the amount of time your harvies can go unattended. But then again, human nature, and like the nature of people in the game, we pay for the extra whistles.

You would have no problem making 13 ber harvies and other top notch equipment with good resources and components.
