Thread: How many of you have 4 million credits?
we all need to form a trust in our respective servers, get everyone to charge no lower than 20k per wall modual; or 10creds per resource used.
i'm only worth 1.8 million, and i've sold 7+ pa halls.
a PA hall is worth atleast 600k, and NOT worth 100K 'if they bring in the resources' please people, have respect for your time, and the time it took you to get to whare you are!
the devs do hate us architects why buy a medium or large house let alone a guild hall just buy a small they stuck it to us hard when we find out a large house a medium house a guild hall and a small house all hold the same ammount of items go figure huh a guild hall 17 times the size of a small house only holds the contents of a small house. 9 lots on a genaric guild hall or 9 small houses your better off with 9 small houses and a good chat system running swg in a window. demand our class be fixed demand our structures to work. htis game is anti buildings and it hates us.good job on the money im a master architect that gets laughed at when i ask 50k for a medium house to afford 5 harvs long enough to make another med to try to sell for main to make my net house we dont get ahead anymore our market is done for retards killed us thankyou mr i have 10 accounts with 1 master architect mule that can kill all others. i pitty the poor architects who only have 1 account there going to be sadly disappointed at the world they entered.
i hate where this game is going and not going. i am getting to the point where i hate playing i hate socializing cause of greed. this game iis plagued with the greedy eq mentality. i hate you all for what you did to my chosen path i hate you all for what you did to my world.
i was a beta architect and master to at least then we all prospered at least then we could make money outside selling to retards like you . how dare you ask or allow a medium house for 30k on ahazi once again i hate you.
shh.. you all seem to be like minded.
the housing market is dead, the only market left is going to be player citys;
There will be starships, and vehicles, and hopefully beast of burden to buy.
MY hope would be that Architecht have the skills to make the vehicles and starships, Armorsmiths will make the armor for them , and weaponsmiths the weapons systems for them.
THere needs to be alot more types of items to buy furniture wise (though architechts still wont have to pay for them). More droids of use (besides only probot being useful) would let the world look more star warsy (i dont see enough droids walking around).
I mentioned on the merchant board that I'd like merchants to be able to craft and sell 1-5 time use schematics that only they can create. This would get the artisans to blow some money on interesting things they need.
wow, seriously whoever would sell a small house for 3k...
not only the resources but what about all the GC XP,hours, days or even weeks(will be months in my case) and then sell it for squat. Im a "artisan" building up enought GC XP to become an architect. I experament with weapon power ups and can sell the good ones for 1.5k+, that have 2 mods of high %. Maybe if they limited the number of architects, i dont suggest cuz im not there yet, houses would go up in value.
As for weapon smiths, i have been seeing tons lately, and there will be some like that guy on selling small houses for 3k.
I know understand why people are selling small houses for 13k on Bria.
We gotta take the power back. Someone Make a Thread about the minimum everyone should sell houses and such for!
Plan on making money as an architect...........excuse me a minute..............rofl, lmao.........ok sorry.
Yeah DE's got screwed but if your planning on makingcredits as an architect, gl. If your in it for the credits, become an armorsmith or weaponsmith.
Only reason I have survived as an architect is that I am in a guild with an armorer and a weaponsmith. They both seem to do very well, and I barely survive on their handouts.
I just wish the architect class had been designed with as much favoritism as some other crafting classes.
i see, you want more ore, so you can sell more houses, so you can compeat in the low-cost housing situation...
you should just charge a high price, and only sell at that, no matter what; let the market get rid of the architects that are low-end.
the only way to make houses worth something is to nerf the resources by a factor of 10.
already in my guild i find it hard to get resources because my guildmates rightfully recognize the imperative needs of our weaponsmith and armorer.
making resources more scarce will just cause me to get even fewer resources. but the demand for weapons will actually be greater than ever.
perhaps you keep advocating this wanton destuction of our skills thru resource denial in order to actually help a fledgeling weaponsmith in your PA?or perhaps you wish to destroy architect skills so no one willwant to be one... then you can charge whatever you like ... (ive read similar idea in another thread I think - something about how we should all train everyone possible to use up all the availablepyramid-skillpoints)
if so, you are smarter (and more devious) thani realized.
The weapon smith and armor smith don’t need nearly the resources that a architect needs..
Honestly, at the phase of the game, of the life of the galaxys, now is not the time for architects;
It’s time for architects to let the resources go to the armor smiths and weapon smiths, so they can get rich, sell guns, flood the market… and do all the fun things that the architects are doing right now.
The time for architects is the future, when everyone has been around long enough to make a million *and with the 60k an hour I’ve seen on dath don’t doubt it*;
Now, come 4 months from now, when player city’s are out, you can stick your head out and say “cantina 10 million creds” and someone will say “ok, and a cloning station with that to” and you’ll say “no problem”.
.. I advocate cutting back on the resources now, because otherwise we are going to be playing for chump change... and to be quite honest, your weapon smith and armor smith are playing for chump change as well.
And yes, I want to limit the number of new master architects, as much as I can, and make advancement as slow as can be. It’s the only way to make sure that medium houses aren’t as cheap as bone armor.
And although your PA is smart, doesn’t mean they all are, many level to get master to get a PA hall of there own; which leads to a bunch of pa arch’s giving houses away... twice as bad as selling at cost.
my plan is to make all levels as rare as they can be, so that what they produce is as valuble as it can be.
The_Bug_Box:
I don't think any of us is saying we are any more broke than anyone else (well, maybe we're saying we are worse off then armorsmiths and weaponsmiths, but then, they'd probably say the same about us, if you asked the right people
)... Droid Engineers definitely have problems of their own, as do Merchants, and tailors, architects, chefs (personally, I am both an Architect and a merchant, and my girlfriend is a tailor, so I'm pretty up to date on the problems all 3 face... plus being a merchant, and dealing with most of the other crafting professions, I have a pretty good idea of what problems each faces, but not nearly so much as someone who IS in those professions).
This isn't an us vs them conflict, so don't confuse it for that.
There is a lot of "you should fix MY profession, it is the most broken!!!", but this is coming from EVERY profession... the result of human's tendency to be self-centered (note.. that is NOT the same as selfish, though many people think that's what I'm saying when I say it.. however, every one of us is self-centered to varying degrees, it is the most base instinct we have, and is impossible to TOTALLY get away from). Really, they all need to be fixed, and because those who develop are only human, things do have to be done in SOME order... pulling professions from a hat is the most inpersonal, and might have to be the case, because people will explode if someone actually CHOOSES to do one profession before another, even though one of them DOES have to come first... OR, we can wait for them to do a massive update to all of them at once, and sit around in the mud that we are in now until that is done... still, people would complain. ![]()
Hmmmm... what was my point. I have just rambled, I think.. So, I will stop.
