It's part of the game. Deal with it. You do know that there are more Jedi than just you? Well all had to deal with it. It's been posted a billion times. It won't be the last time this happens to you for the next several months. Welcome to Padawn BTW.

Secondly, find a Master BH with a lot of kills under his belt and ask him to kick the living crap out of this guy. He vizzed himself through the roof by giving you force (he used a Force Power in the presence of 7 factional PCs). He was probably already on the terminals, so doesn't care about Viz any more, but this kind of treatment is rude and callous to other players and should be dealt with. If that means hiring a Bounty Hunter to do his job, then so be it. Once a BH kills this cowardly force-weilding gimp who feels the need to hunt with a pack of low-life dogs, he will have to worry about XP loss and Viz for himself.
The next Solution to the "Gank Squad" is forthcoming, if you read the latest Dev Notes. This may help discourage groups such as this one, as well.
its not griefing its part of the perils of being a jedi

nopes.. actually it is kinda RP of those guys to do so.. in this timeline, the imperial propaganda has force people to think that jedi are evil bastards, and that they should all be exterminated..
actually the jedi that do live at this time, shouldn't be out in the open.. there are way too many Jedi around..

It was griefing by the offending Jedi's own admission. Bragging that he was intentionally griefing the wookiee is NOT acceptable game play. Conduct and actions specifically aimed at hampering another player's game experience is not allowed per the EULA that we all 'signed'.

Instead of waiting for a whole 3 weeks, I would contact a friendly bh and rezzer. Let the bh db u and have the rezzer do u a favor in return. If u are going to hand in to a bh someday, why not do your friend and yourself a favor? usually the xp loss per db is somewhat equal to a 2hr grind, and this "mercy killing" should ease ufrom any hatred and griefing. And of course, some share of the mission rewards.
At the first time u lost xp, it likes receiving an official message from SOE that you are not welcomed to the game. At the 5th time you lost it, it likes having a mission stolen.

I do not mind the way things are with the vis and dont even care about being hunted as long as its within theconfines of the game. THis is not. I have heard from many others about these groups that purposly search for jedi to give them vis while one waits at the terminals for them to show up and then procede to kill them. This is what i would consider a major exploit and should be remmedied immediatly. I am always careful when grinding so i dont end up on the terms and to have this happen really makes me question if i want to continue playing a game where this can happen unchecked.were they in your group? were they driving to a location and you happened to be on there travel path? and if that wasnt the case how did they know where you were? are they on your friends listThese people should be banned completely and not allowed to return to the game. This is not fair and should not be a conserquince or penalty involved in the jedi profession.Maybe an honest mistake, you wernt very clear in stating how it happened, im assuming from what you wrote that u were grinding and they happened to fly over you, possibility they didnt know u were there? As for worrying about vis, dont let it get you down i can tell you from experiance that if you live in fear of BH's not only will you not actually grind or enjoy the game but to sit in hiding will cost you alot more exp in the long run so just take it on the chin, go get buffed and get back out there keep the exp coming so when/if you should get hunted and killed by a BH the loss isnt so great.Just keep going

There is nothing you can do to the people who do this to you to avoid such "griefing", these individuals who act like that can freely do that as they use intended game design.
But you can play smart and avoid them yourself. First you need to know they are on and are near you, use /who command to check for their names from time to time, grind only in remote places, try playing when they are not online, etc. You can also check their online status using your alt (I'm sure they do that too). Move alot, so rangers from their group couldn't track you.
As for your question about transfer force I don't think that person who receives force like this gains visibility. But yet this skill should be a consent type skill IMO(group members or people from consent list should be able to use it on you).
