One of my Friends(in Game) quit the game and he was running a static opt. He asked me to take over.. so I agreed, so here is what I have

10 medium Floras (Tat)

120 medium Mineral (Tat)

30 medium Mineral (Corellia)

8 medium Flora (Corellia)

7 heavy Water (Corelllia)

5 heavy Mineral with power kits on them (Corellia)

15 medium Mineral (Talus)

5 roaming harvesters that I use to collect different things

I can usually pull in about 3 to 4 million units of a resource (mineral) if I am on a 50% or greater.

Geez!

those are the key words there, I didnt have any of that, I used to buy my resources off him lol

I have people that sell to me on a weekly basis. I pay 1cpu for ore and 1cpu for energy. Lot of people are going out of business or leaving the game and often sell their resources off cheap. I just bought 8 million units of ore for 1cpu. Which i thought was great.

When i first became an architect 14-15months ago price of ore was a lot for a new person. 3-4 cpu i thought was bad. Reason for this - " ore only spawns on 30-50% spot so we charge more for it". So i started a harvester farm back then.

Things started to settle down on price of resources until SW came into the picture. People that werent prepared were paying 4-10cpu for resources. SO i couldnt afford that if i wanted to keep a large inventory. So i created a 2nd harvester farm.

A friend left the game leaving me his harvester farm so i was running 3 harvester farms ( al pre-nerf ) and was doing great. But the fact i hate harvester farms and think they clutter the landscape i let one entire harvester farm burn down ( 100 of them roughly ).

Now i just run 2 of them ( 100 each) 160 minerals and 40 chemicals.

I think if people werent so greedy on resources there would be no need for harvester farms. But i sell a few hundred harvesters, factories, and homes on a weekly basis. I keep selling out of fusions, chemicals, and minerals. I would raise my prices but since i can get ore so cheap i see no need to raise prices. There arent many architects on my server- so i dont regret having farms, i just dont like them. But what ever it takes to be successful in my field.

I don't know how anyone could harvest Ore off statics. It is VERY rare that I get a good Ore spawn under my static fields. The JTL ore is the only way to go. I put my mobile harvs on it for a cycle and it keeps my 4 factories running on walls through the next cycle. I will admit I did get lucky just recently with a 70% spawn of the Fermionic under my big static field. That was qite a haul

Ya you'll hardly ever get a high %. But you'll almost alwaysget ore at 30-40%.

30% still gives you about 4k output /day with a medium which is still only like 0.7 cpu cost.
