Remember that you can get stuck with a ton of walls. Most Upper Architect items require "Similar Walls". Which basically means that they have to come from a factory run. I personally did the sit by the trainer and grind heads until I was master. When I created my first heavy Mineral, I realized what similar Walls meant. it meant that all walls needed the same serial. Id recommend that you grind on Gungan heads and then have fun practicing and learning how to make high quality arch items once you reachmaster.

Ditto for structure modules. I can't think of any time I've been forced to use the same serial number on either. Chunk whatever you've got into the factory, it will take it all. And I dont' recall issues handcrafting either.
Identical = matching serial numbers.
Simliar = don't worry about it

Istack walls in houses regularly and just grab whatever I need for whatever project.
Walls andstructure modules specifically can come from any source. Similar means any source, SAME means same serials. Works likes this in Chef too, btw, for Casks.

I recently mastered Architect with my alt, using the Gungan Head method for 3/4 of it. I'll never do that again! Ididn't pay attention tohow many walls I was going to need to make harvesters. Next time I will grind walls all the way.I will editmy macro so it grinds out 10 structural mods then does a wall.(think I recall reading that in one of the stickies)

I started out making tons of walls and modules, then I learned about the Gungans later on and tried that. Basically I only did the statues so i could get more experiment pts to build more effective harvesters. Most of my experience came from building houses, harvesters and furniture, and oh yes walls.
But then I had tons of resources from the artisan days,(I had a small Naboo house and one room was full of resources(pain in the butt, because I wanted a warehouse look, so i stacked em), so I used a lot of em on the statues just to get rid of em cause I need the space. And yes I did sell them on vendors too.
. Guess it pretty much depends on what you want to do, maybe after getting bored on making walls, you make statues for a while.
