Ive done this for... err going on 6 novice architects on Bria (who are now masters .. have 3 currently working for me. Either I buy all the walls they produce from their harvest, or I give them my own materials to grind into walls and return to me. This was done for me by a SUPERB master architect (who just recently surrendered the skill). I learned a lot from sitting around his workshop watching how he did his business. I wouldnt be so successful without that great learning experience on how to run a successful architect business I got from him..

It would be nice to have a Master Architect help me out with exp and creds.

Plus it would help them by saving them alot of time.

We need a master architect on kauri willing to take me under their wing.

send me (Apocolypso) a tell on Kauri if interested.

I've done this for a couple of budding architects and someone did it for me as well. I extend my offer to anyone that needs help working up the Architect Tree. I'm on the eclipse server and my game name is Micca. Send me a tell or e-mail I always need structure modules and/or walls. Will pay you to do it as well.

This a great idea. I am at 0-0-3-1 on Flurry. Got an offer last night from a Master, thatis going to give up the profession, to send me business. Plus I already sell walls to another achitect. If itstays like this I wont need adoption, guess I've been semi adopted hehehe. However, this is a great idea, and when I hit Master and am self sufficient I'll be willing to adopt someone, whenever that time may be.

Not to sound like a grumpy ole naysayer here, but while this is a great idea in theory, in practice it can often hurt your business long term as much as it helps. I did this with 4 people on the server I play on (Tempest). I was one of the first to make Master in my area (as far as I know, at least), paying for every box of skill advancement. Not wanting to make others do that, and having more business than I could possibly keep up with at the time, I took on apprentices. The agreement was that I would provide resources and training for them, and send any "small" orders their way while I worked on the larger structures. All are now MA's on the server, in part because of my help. Unfortunately most of them now charge less than the 3 cpu that I charge for large structures, one even going so far as to have tracked what customers I had while he/she was skilling, emailing those customers when he/she reached MA and offering to undersell at whatever price. The market is now saturated with architects (so it seems), most of my repeat customers havea full compliment of homes/harvesters, and others have chosen to go with the cheapest price. So when taking on an apprentice, all I would say is make sure you don't take on so many that you end up driving yourself out of business in the long term. One of the apprentices I trained continues to work with me to fill what orders we have, and the arrangement works out well for both of us. But there is a limit to how many architects (or any crafting profession for that matter) a population needs, at least until structures become something "renewable" either through decay or repair.

Someone suggested this to me a couple days ago.

I'm a novice architect (just started a couple days ago)on the Lowca server and I'm hoping someone will "adopt" me. I currently live on Naboo, but I am willing to relocate where ever.

Please sent a message to Eagle-One so we can discuss terms and such. I will work on your terms to the best of my abillity.

Thanks.

I'm currently apprenticed to a Master on Kettemore, and I think it is great. I harvest my own resources, and he buys walls from me at about 2.5cpu (exp for me, slight margin advantage for him, and I don't hurt the market to get my stuff sold). I am currently at 4-0-3-2 and expect to hit Master in the next couple weeks (only playing about 3-4 day per week).

Like I said, I think it is great and will be taking on an apprentice or 2 when I hit Master
