This comment, I am sorry to say, is a deliberate spin.
In reference to why Dayln would respond to this post entitled...

you equate it to...
"I wonder how long you would ignore a post on this board with the title "GrandMufTarkin is a Lousy Architect and OVER PRICED""
My title was about overpriced guild halls. NOT "Dayln's guild hall prices is blah blah blah."
So your analogy, is entirely wrong.
But, if me or Dayln was to see a post title, with our names in it, I would guess that it would be totally reasonable and probable that we, or anyone else in some post title for that matter would respond. That being the case, you would be correct.
You called that an apology?, maybe you should look the word up.
But I agree that once you were treated the same as you treat others you didnt like it much.
Would you guys mind taking this offline, please? 
As for the cost of PA halls, I've been wondering a lot about this. I recently earned my MA title and built my first PA. I am on Intrepid and have seen a very wide range of prices for generic PA's.
Can anyone else on Intrepid give me some insight, please?

I think you took this a bit too personally... there was no attack, he came back and explained himself quite in depth. He made a comment that you would respond... thats all I read into it. I don't get involved in personal conflict in most cases, but I'll be honest... you should have simply accepted the apology as I've seen you do before and been gracious. I hope its just been a bad day for you, we almost never agree on things here, but I think you took this a bit too far.
I am having a bad day, and I am sorry if this got under my skin.

Ive sold 3 large houses this week... none made by me.... bought them all in town from other architects selling them at 100k a pop... 180k on my vendor.. 80k instant profit with little to no effort

This all seems counter-productive to what we really want to achieve, not to flame anyone, but the thread really got out of hand.

You are right.... my analogy of anaccusatory (sp) message header with a name in it isn't terribly good. It was a poor selection for an example. I was trying to show that the direct use of a name when making comments about a business practice is sure to dramatically increase the chances of a response.
Your example with the kids and the drinks isnt right either though, because in that case you hadn't specifically "Challenged" the kids.. they had no idea they were being baited.
Anyway...
In terms of your choice of action when faced with someone (possibly competitor, possiblysomeoneupgrading) selling a structure significantly bellowyour price... I think your your selction is both correct and obvious.
Any of us..no-one excluded.. would be smart to do the same thing.. assuming we had a reasonable expectation of being able to sellthe item again.
I make MANY large structures... butonly last night I actualy purcased 10 of them. I saw someone a while ago offering 9 Heavy Minerals plus a Fusion for 700K. I couldn't pass that up. I don't actualy have a need of them for my store... but It allowed me to get afriend up onto heavies immediately without tieing up my production. Even if he hadn't needed them Iwould have purchased just to sell later.
I see the ability to do this as one of my main advantages over some other architects. I maintain a cashbalance which allows me tobuy anything I see thatsselling cheapenough for me to re-sell.
What I don't know... and would be interested in.... is what sort ofliquid assets (cash + bank) other architects maintain in order to do this sort of business. I wouldn't be surprised if the sucessfull architectsare the ones with funds available... and having the fundsin turn helps make the more succesfull. Is it the old "It takes money to make money"deal?
