"This is a terrible, terrible idea.

We already have architects giving away houses for masochistically low prices. If we were to earn income based on maintenance costs, the prices would bottom out further as people decide to just recoup the costs via maintenance. Eventually you would barely be able to GIVE buildings away. Earning a percentage of maintenance costs is NOT a solution to our woes."
