i just got novice architect today and decided i had better place some harvesters on ore... i endedupsurveying for about 5min, very first spot i found just outside coronet was 79%
beginners luck

Ore is the bane of our profession 
I cen never get enuff or when I get a good stock I get a order for 40-50 heavy harvesters and it wipes it all away

From what i have experienced it don't work, cause the payout on ore is always low (if it is not uber ore for other professions than architect), so people who mine just to sell resources concentrates on other stuff that pays much better.
