Thread: Until We are FIXED

Lets say this again.

the more this expliot is talked about the faster its going to go away. I know people love using it, and they want everyone to use it because it is a fair tradeoff for some of the crap we go though, but for every time this message goes up on the boards, it's 1 step closer to being gone.

Stop bring it it up. If new players need this information, look in the search option and find it, or ask another player in game, but stop talking about how wonderful this expliot is on SONY's FOURMS is you don't want it go away.

The general idea is to get it fixed, friend. So as you state:

the more this is talked about, the higher the chance of getting it fixed = good

Not the other way around.

Rath did you get Gragamel's phone number from Shila or did you forget that part?

It's not an exploit though.

It's not a 100% thing. I tried and failed miserably alot still. I think you're just running lucky.

Scotch, it is not for you ( or I ) to say.

If it is an unintended ( bySOE ) way to get around Crit Failures than it is an exploit

If it is an intended ( by SOE ) way to get around Crit Failures than it it not an exploit.

Our opinions mean nothing on that subject, we didn't design the game.

That put in the ability to make macros, they knew the power in them.

Okay, now to everyone if you are even close to a personalized crafting station, the big ones. You need 3 statements of /nextcrafting stage; just like its been displayed. Make sure the coding is correct with one space between all ; and /

If your out in the middle of no where use the one with only two statments of /nextcrafting stage;

The semicolons are important, the say go to the next line, the / represents the beggieng of the next line to read. This is how it works, it says okay crafting tool go to the next stage, then the next stage after that, and the next stage. Then i want you to create a prototype (not sure why it does it twice but it is necessary) of the item i have created. That is what it does.

Oh and on a side note an exploit is taking advantage of something, Yes i very well might be taking an advantage of this but also note that this only HURTS people that dont know it. People who sell for cheap can because they have a very minimal chance of failing using the macro, so bringing up the point that oh when they fail a factory is cheap. SO what im doing is telling everyone of this macro, whether it be an exploit or not, we do get less critical failures while using this, does that mean the way we crit fail now is normal? Or are we supposed to crit less, which is what this macro does.

Any questions? Anyone not even know how to make a macro.

Exactly what I been trying to say Dayln. People running around calling anything they don't like an exploit is just stupid. If the DEV TEAM thinks it's an exploit, they will fix it.

People going around hollering exploit at the least little thing and calling people cheaters and such because something doesn't fit their description of how it should work or how they think it should is just plain ignorant though.

That's just like Kiting in EQ. A lot of players hollered EXPLOIT because they didn't think people should be able to do that and they couldn;t do it with their class so they hollered exploit.

If they fixed the bug where we only get +55 assembly when other professions have +100 and fixed the problem of loosing 55000 resources in one shot where other professions only loose 250 or less in one shot, then this wouldn't be a big deal.

Do you honestly think its a bug with experimentation and assembly. My thoughts on this are that if they do incorporate experimentation they want it to be difficult to get a Very GOOD quality item. And even if you do there is a high chance for you to get cheap successes verses constant greatsand amazings. If they do put it in there and I use the highest possible resources and i bring it up to like 96% due to experimentation (if we had 10) should that be double its standard? I think it should be very significant and due to lack of experimentation its extremelly hard to even attempt that high of something. Just imagine if heavies could pull out twice the rate they do now, you could sell those for MASSIVE amounts of cash.

"That put in the ability to make macros, they knew the power in them."

Wow, by that argument then, there are no bugs or exploits anywhere. They designed the software, they knew the bugs an exploits.

( rolls eyes )

Again your opinion doesnt matter, niether does mine.

If it was intended then it is not, if it was not inteded then it is. These are not difficult concepts.

I think it has a LOT to do with low assembly and lag. Before the macro, doing it by hand, I had a lot of crit failures in the evening when most people were online versus the morning times using the same resources, etc.

I have tried high quality and low quality resources. No difference.

I have tried my 13+ craftign station and 40+ crafting stations. No difference.

I DID see a LOT of failures using the public stations though. I failed left and right when doing it manually. Those public stations are evil. Of course, they are also in a HIGH traffic area also. There can be up to 30+ people around them and the Starport at Coronet.

I have best results in my house using my 13+ station, in the morning time, no matter what resources I use.

When I was only at Furniture 1, I failed even more. When I got Furniture 4, my crits had dropped way down so yes, +assembly really helps. They need to put in +10 Structure Assembly in each of the construction blocks like it should be. That would still only be +95. Maybe add +5 more to the Master Block.

Yes they created the software but the ability to create a macro was also INTENTIONALLY GIVEN. Bugs and such are not, ability to duplicate resources are not either. We were given the commands to do almost everything we want to do in the game, that is their intention to be used to link commands.
