Thread: What do you pay for Ore?

Never more than 2.5 lately. In fact it's gotten to the point where I loathe even paying 2.5. If nobody is selling it forlower than 2.5I'd rather just mine it myself. I have a pretty sweet deal going with a guy who is providing me ore at 2.0 in phenomenal quantities (sometimes up to 300k a week). In exchange, I give him harvesters at cost price. We're both happy, because he's making me an awesome deal and he makes good money on the side selling off excess ore, while I can cut my costs. As a starter, I often paid 2.5-3 (and even 3.5), but now that I know people on the server, many of mycontacts arewilling to work out deals because we've become friends.

1.5-2.5 cpr... All my 1.5 suppliers have since given up the resource selling to chase their holocron profession

Can still find a couple in the 2 region, but though it pains me badly, I sometimes have to jump up to 2.5

I mine a large quantity of ore myself, along with 2 friends lots (pay them 2 cpr as a thankyou) and have 3 2cpr suppliers, but still often have to go out in search of others as I just can't get enough of the stuff !!

No one on our server is selling large quantities of ore to the general public now, have to rely on friendships developed previously. (Always looking for new ones though lol).

Also had to increase my prices recently... I specialise in fast delivery, but last 2 weeks I could not fill orders within my own pre-set time limits... just too many orders with a lot of architects out of the business I'm guessing hording for player cities.

I have a guy bringing me 300k of ore every 2days at 2.5cpu. The crazy thing is thats not enough. I sell pa halls at 400k and large harv with a base rate of 10 for 145k. Its crazy.

I mine all my own ore, but I have 10 heavies on a guildmates toon that is a pure fighter. However, on Flurry you would be hard pressed to find crappy ore for less than 3.0 cpu. Heck grinding Steel/Iron/Aluminum on flurry wont go for less than 2.0 or 2.5 cpu. About the only thing that is below those prices on Flurry is bulk power, i.e. if you buy 100k or more.

I try to mine my own but sometimes end up buying it off the bazaar at around 3or4cpu. Right now there is some primo ore with 4 stats in the 900s(including ut) so I'm stockpiling that for when experimentation for architects is patched .

My guess is that a droid engineer or weapon smith bought that ore. They need various types of ore, and of good quality. It could also be a rich guy who was told by his holocron to go Architect.

I don't normally buy ore. The margin is too low to not mine it myself.

I mine most of my own ore (with help from a friend or two). I never pay more than 2.5 credits per for the supplemental ore I buy.

I am a bit disappointed with the resource market as a whole. With the "old" heavy harvesters, the cost to mine resources was already below 1 credit per resource. With the newer harvesters extracting at an even faster rate, the mining costs have dropped even more yet the standard for selling any and all resources seems to still be 3 credits per in large part.

Another thing I've seen happening is some of the resource sellers make their billions of credits selling overpriced resources, then they "retire" and do something else. I've noticed distinct decrease in available resources in major cities over the past month or so as more people seem to be getting out of the market than into it.

I hardly ever buy ore, I mine all my stuff I need myself. But I have the priveledge of having a great guild behind me. IfI need lots, I have them at my disposal.I also buy (mainly) ore from some of my guildmates at upwards of 2.5 cpu, but only when they need the creds.

With 10/11 rate heavies on 70+, I harvest for less then .5 cpu and sell my structures at about 4 cpu. Why would I run out and pay 5-6 cpu for stuff?

I mine ore, and only ore, off of 30 heavy harvesters on flurry. I average 1.3-1.7 million units of it a week. (Im also a MA hehe but im burned out on that rat-race atm) I currently sell between 2.0-2.5 cpu, regardless of oq (could be 900+, could be 100+)Would not go below 2.0 cpu...simply not worth my time spent surveying and managing all those lots. Occasional/emergency buyers pay more...I like to reward consistent buyers who wont leave me in the lurch or let my product rot on their vendor becasue an order fell through with better prices, and referal after referal from my pa and random tells.

If you want ore, and I mean alott of ore on Flurry, on a regular basis, and are a reliable, good-natured person, send me an email (same name) so we can do business. Please no trying to browbeat me into a lower price...Its just as easy to make3 sales of 400k as it is to make one 1.2 million unit sale lol.
