"It is buggy for me. Last night I found two of my harvesters had zero power (4 days before they should have). I put in another 30k of power, did a refresh and there was only 27k left (like there was -3k in reserves)."
also, if my harvesters run out of power, they keep running and continue to consume power, essentially taking me into the negative (doesn't display).
So the next time you make a power run on a harvester that ran out, you have to pay off "what you owe", essentially, before you can get your power back into the black.

We dont know why its not been fixed, but it has certainly been reported, and discussed, in NUMEROUS other threads in this forums.

Anyone know if the harvesters not being animated is being looked into? I don't really want to keep bugging it, since I'm sure everyone already knows about it. Very annoying though, as I tend to run past my harvesters and slow down if they are not "working"

It's not being fixed because it's dismissed as "minor display bug" and people think that since the harvester is running, that's ok.
What needs to be reported is more people loosing real power due to the bug.
Put 10 days of power in and the next day you'll have 8 days of power instead of 9. If you redeed you lost a day of power. People don't even realize they are loosing power unless it jumps right out and says ZERO power and even then they ignore it because "it still runs" so it must be just the display.

Thanks for the insight, Phaze. I reported the display part within a day of the patch along with many other playersI suppose. My bad for not knowing about this redeed issue as I did not have time to read the NUMEROUS other threads I have noted since I read about (and experienced)the problem initially. And I don't redeed my heavies that often. At least now I know to take care of things before I pull up my ore heavies tonight. But I appreciate your helpful update none-the-less

hmm. I was thinking it had to do with the PE of the energy used. Lower PE = faster energy usage? That is what I thought it was anyway..
Nope. I'm use PE 996 and having the same problem. I've even have one that had a display of 0 shut off. Turned it off and on then had about 2k units of power in it.
I've now gotten into the habit of doing the off/on trick every time before loading any power.
