Thread: Architects max lots should increase....
/agree
Increase lots for architects to mine the thousand of resources they need. Maybe as a progress increase up the artisan skills then more in the architect. similar thing for other crafters.
Those that are not artisan/crafter related should see a decrease in there lots as they increase in skill.
Master architect require more lots and more resources (I can pull 130k ore with 9 heavies that amount of Ore is gone in 1 day)i should be able to have a large house this way i can show off what i can make im the one that sat there and grinded all the walls to make master architect.
I will never get to do any thing cool in this game if im not a fully combat class player or if i give up architect why should i have to give up anything to do something cool? This makes me feel like im really part of the star wars theme. other than building houses that look like tatooine structures? there should be advantages to the master elite profession LOTS should be the architects advantage or if you a master architect you can place a Large house with 1 Lot kinda like a perk for building stuff all day.
By lowering peoples lots they could not build as many structures and therefore not buy as many and we would be getting shafted.

But I think this should be added to master arch. only. Would add a nice incentive to master the profession.
A couple of extra lots with Master Architect box would be pretty cool. CH get more room for there pets on the datapad as there skill goes up, kinda the same sort of.

I agree with both, then again I'm a miner (25% artisan and architect, 75% combat)
I have my factories and shop on a friends lots, which frees up my lots for mining :-)
It fits my playstyle, and I can dish it out. There's nothing like owning folks with an Installation Designer tag up hehe
If you don't feel like you can make enough money to suit your needs, there are alot of other people out there making a profession out of mining who would be happy to help you by selling you more. This gives relevance to *two* or more people, rather than just one. That's what this player-driven economy is all about.
You can be perfectly self-sustaining on one set of lots. If you want to take over the architect world (aka sell lots and lots of stuff), make some friends and take a few people up the wealth ladder with you.
theres allready enough complaints about people dabbling in this profession or that profession just to get certain perks from it. And architect was one of those professions at one time till they fixed experimentation.
what they need to do is relook at the lot useage of structures. all factories except the structure factory take 1 lot. structure factory needs 2. well if you're an architect who is also a guild master, you can't place your structure factory because you just placed a PA hall that took up 9 lots. someone else in the guild has to do it for you. so maybe they need to drop the structure factory down to 1 lot.
next is houses. small round naboo uses 1 lot and has 75 item storage. ok thats fine we can use that as the standard to measure all the others. all other smalls use 2 lots and have 150 item storage space. makes sense because the small 1 lot house has only 75 item storage.
now we get to the mediums. a medium house also uses 2 lots and has 150 item storage space. i don't know why. this is a pretty big house. to me it should be 3 lots and have 225 items of storage space. and the large which currently uses 7 lots and only has 250 storage space should be reduced to 4 lots and have 300 storage space.
The PA should be at 7 lots and be 300 storage space. my reason for keeping the storage space the same as a large is because PA halls aren't really ment to be used as houses. but they shouldn't take up so many lots on a players account that they're forced to trust someone else with thier factory and hope the person doesn't rip off all the items that are being produced on it. (not saying this has happened to me or anyone else i know. but it can happen to someone)

If and when they put back the miner and farmer professions, they would be the ones to get an extra lot at novice and an extra lot at master.
I don't think giving the guy who is digging up half a planet needs more lots to do the same, when you have so many people who are not using more than 4 lots at any time.
Borrowing lots is a better idea for architects than giving them more.

master arch should get a reduction on large stuctures (other then PA) to 1 lot
each ELITE craftingclass master should get 1 lot, and one lot for survaying 4
/agree
I also think PA halls should take up less lots, because if someone wants to become a guildmaster and still continue a crafting profession, they either have to beg lots off someone or give up...
