err you just lose a unit.. you experiment and when you get the correct value you make it into a schematic hten EVERY other unit u make from that schematic is proper for the extraction rate.. the only thing that varies is the hopper size at final combineand really customers dont care if its 100k or 130k .. they just care about the extract rate which is something i can make a schematic to guarantee

I meant if they change it to where the rate is experimented at the final stage, not like it is now.

that in green marines post. the experimentation on extraction rates and everything else will be moved to the final combine. thats why if your a smart architect your saving your fiberplast steel and ore for when the patch comes.
