It's not just structure factories that are slow. All of them are. You would think that people who can fly through space, mutate animals, and build cities under the ocean would be able to build factories that were more efficient than an ox cart propelling a water wheel. Nooooo... We're like cave men in that area.

The Manufacturing mechanism should affect the production rate the way it does harvesters, hopefully a patch will seean experimented factory run faster in the future....

Hey was hoping someone could help me with a quick question. I tried to make another factory hoping I could make it faster. I couldn't experiment on anything but storage. everthing else was a failure. Is this Normal now. Also can manafacturing speed change some how. I am getting 120 secs per wall and 65 secs per structural module. What can I do to make this faster?

Architects cannot do a thing to make factories faster. Been that way since the begining.

Experimenting on factories is pointless, because nothing gets changed. Even if you critically fail on assembly and use the magic architect macro (/nextcraftingstage;, etc...) the stats dont change.

You cannot change the speed of the factory, its fixed for every schematic.
And its 64 seconds per structural module btw.

Is it me or does everyone have the same problem? I have great difficulty in placing the guys. I live in Talus which is already very flat and living in a city, I only want to place my factories on the outskirt of town. Are there ways of solving this problem? Please help!

Negative, structure factories are worst than hvy harvesters IMO. About the only thing worst is guildhalls.

They changed it right around the time when JTL came out.

Guild halls only take 7 lots now, too.
