Thread: When are we getting the new Architect Correspondent?
On suggestion, since the architect product line has some really radically different 'branches', might be to explicitly separate out the issue of decay and repeat business on a branch by branch basis - it might keep the discussions more focused and less muddy (although I'm not hopeful.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner.
Back on topic, it is time for us to start the process of looking for a new correspondent. It has been too long since we've seen AA, and as architects, we cannot accept this situation. The most likely scenario is that AA is playing Horizons or some other new fangled game he got for/during the holidays. It's a lot less likely that he is actually hurt or in some kind of trouble, so let's just politely wish him well and then go about taking care of our own business.

Ok back to the topic, sorry I let myself get overworked about that in the wrong thread. I nominate Goliath (forum name Mkappus) from Intrepid for the Architect Correspondent--he's been a master architect from very early on, reads the forums religiously, is clear and lucid in his posts, he posts frequently, is also a Master Politican/Mayor of one of the largest cities on our server so he understands the crossprofession issues there, and is a generally nice guy.

You are completely ignoring 3 trees in your skill tree. I can still just level up in arch, make my harvestors and drop the skill. There is NO reason for me to ever come back to some arch if I drop my skills. The architect profession isn't being an architect either. It is building things. Architects design things. You say the profession isn't about being an interior designer. Well guess what, that is what one of your trees is. You can't ignore that part just because you are happy with it being useless. People don't sell furniture because people don't buy it. The only reason harv sales are still going is because 10ish heavys were introduced and then 13ish heavys were introduced. How long this will last I haven't got a clue. But sooner or later the bulk of the harvs will be purchased and all you will sell to is new players. Yes they will buy harvestors but not enough for everyone to sell to.
Hey, I build city structures, gardens, houses, gardens and furniture, but if I want to make money so I can afford to make those marginal things, I have to make harvestors--not just heavies, mediums too. I want more than a small number of housing choices, which I have stated. I want 150-200 additional furniture and decorative items as I have stated in this very thread. I want colorization choices as I have stated. I want interior design styles. I want experimentation on factory speeds as I have stated. So I am stuck in the present you say?

Vadikar and others, if you haven't done so yet then please cast your votes in the thread where we're looking for our current top 5 issues:

Whether we have a correspondent or not, it doesn't hurt for us to compile our top 5 list in the meantime.
