Thread: Busier than ever, is this true for you?

I dunno. I shop & compare prices occasionally, my prices are pretty competitive. I think on my server the saturation limit has been met. You cant walk across a low level planet without moving around a harvester. There are even concentrations of them on Endor now. I'll keep going till spacecraft come out, then either Archs will make the(doubt it) or I'll change professions.

Lecivius,

Wow that is what I am afraid we will be like in 4-6 weeks. Right now I build as fast as I can get the ore in. I have made 50 heavies last week, and have a backlog of 30 heavies and 20 mediums. My prices are higher than yours too.

Im trying to be disciplined and save as much money as possible for space. I wish there was a savings or investment market we could put our money into.

Lecivius,

Do you watch the galaxy trade boards much? Most of my large orders come from responding to posts, or people being referred from past clients.

Business is still manic, but for the first time in 3 months, I actually managed to clear all my orders last night (course got a few this morning, meaning I didn't exactly get a break from all the crafting )

However, the fact that I was able to do this after 3 months seems indicative to me that we are about to see a slow down in demand on Syclla, maybe within the next 3-4 weeks.

My server is really busy also. I had to turn off my Master Architect title just to keep from getting new customters. Even the next city from me, lost thier Architect to Holo'ing, So i'm trying to keep them afloat too. I really don't think there are many of us true Architect's left. The holo quest is draining our class. LOL Well, more money for me!

Well I just started making BER 10 harvesters my self, two days now, on the planetary map et all and nothing I have about 20 items there none have sold as such. Hopefully now that I've made master I should be able to see a pick up in business.... first of all to sort out supply issues first ~_~

I'm not one to say how much I'm worth, but lets just say there isn't anything that I couldn't buy. I deal specifically in furniture and homes. All my extractor request are refered to Pawlin.

3 months ago we were all dying to get some decay in the game, saying without it architects would wither away and die. Right now I am busier than ever. I have orders for over 50 structures piling up, I am 5 million credits and should top 10 million soon. I would have more but I have been buying up holocrons.

Why are we so incredibly busy? Are there so few of us per server? I swear I have made enough deeds that one could walk from Mos Entha to Bestine without having to step on the sand. I just don't get where they are all going. I thought the used deed market would kill us, but Im not seeing it.

One thing that does worry me, I haven't sold a house in 3 or 4 weeks. All business is strictly harvestor business. I imagine this has to dry up sooner or later, but I am riding high now.

It's been this way for me for at least a month on Bria.

I can't keep BER14 fusions in stock at $150K for more than 24 hours. Word of mouth appears to have sufficed. Ixod's an eight-digit fish now too.

I think what kills it is that it's not a heck of a lot of fun. All I do is log on, run to the lots, pick up the ore, make it into bricks/walls. Every once in a while I crank out 20 extraction units for a specific harvester type, so that I have some in stock for when a regular customer needs "5 of these".

The hardest part of the job is spending your hour or two a day in-game setting up a run for a customer -- only to have it all sell out before the customer logs in to pick stuff up. Not much fun for the architect, and even less fun for the customer.

It ain't weaponsmith cash. But it's pretty darn close.

Well, I guess I need to do some more advertising AND find a way to gather more ore, because all I've been doing since hitting 500k selling vehicles is losing money...and running out of ore, trying to make it to Master Architect. Zam, I wish I had your market. There's already a couple Master Architects in the city I live in and Medium Mineral Harvesters sell for 6-8k...that's all. Factories are selling at 25k. My best market has been for small houses, which I can only get 6k for. Furthermore, I haven't been using any macros, so a large house (10 wall modules) takes me almost an hour to make and depletes half my ore stock. Making 50 harvesters in a day seems impossible at that rate. I will definitely check out the trade forum, but I'm also hoping to get some suggestions I can try out from here.

As im pretty new in this profession I haven't bothered to advertise for my shop that much yet because im not master architect. But im in a fairly busy player city and I sell a **edit**load of furniture, they dont get me that much cash, but if I sell 10-20 couches thats nice profit.

But I was wondering why my 5k/6k small houses doesnt really sell neither my factories at 35k

Ill hit master and stick with it for a bit, then I might switch as architect doesnt seem to be as good a business atm

My boss nerfed me. He says Im not allowed to surf the SWG forums as long as he's around.
Today he's not here

Sorry to hear your troubles Bip,

If you need a hand with cashflow grinding up to Master Architect, you can always sell your walls to me for 8k a piece. That's a lot better than the 6k for a small house and I can buy every one you make.

Thanks for the offer, Zam. I'll likely take you up on that. I'll place the wall modules on my structures vendor in the Aries Mall in Aries, Corellia (of course). Feel free to stop by and purchase them when you're online.

Hey Kongstad19,

I'm a master Architect on same server and I sell small houses on my vendor for atm 8.5k and they sell pretty quick.. I also stock 2 mediums at 65k each and 1-2 large and 125k each and they usually sell within a day or so.

Things are good atm I've made 8 mill in 8 days and I'm a solo with one vendor.

I sell mostly to private orders and ofc BER 10 minerals,

Maybe I'm in a good location but there are atleast 4 Master Architects where I'm living but only 2 of us selling in good amounts on the vendors.

I mean If i've made 8 mill in 8 days then the other architect must be making twice asmuch..

Oh also repeat business helps alot and making myself searchable.

if things got to where med minerals sold for 12-13k i think i'd stop making them.

I also find that if I don't comprimise much when ppl try to haggle for 1 factory I still get the sale.
