and some Architect items need master artisan items.

Not sure about shipwright.

If you are going to make crafting stations, make sure you can trust your master artisan supplier. Those puppies need the very best possible components to reach the highest (i.e., salable) level. Same for your droid engineer supplier, if you don't master that.
