Yes, but that will not bypass the entry fee.
They must be specifically listed by name on the entry list in order to get around the fee.

And even then, if you're selling high-end items, people can pay the 50k to come in anyway. Some people will come in even if they have no idea what you're selling, just to see what you might have.

For deals in my guild, if someone wants to sell me something, they offer it to my vendor. If I'm selling to them and they don't have a vendor, I just do it in person via secure trade and I don't have to spend so much time and energy and worry on the problem.

Finally, re-reading I didn't notice anyone pointing out that private houses cannot contain vendors. If you have a vendor, the house must be public (albeit with a possible entry fee as discussed). If you create a vendor then try to make it private, you'll get an error.

The list has a maximum of 36 entries (even though we were promised lists with no limits). My guild currently has over 340 members.
