it's in the Advanced Guide Player Cities 3/4 of the way down.

is it just me or is it nearly imposible to place these... i went even to a compleetly open mostly flat (bout as much as my city gets) area and could not even place them there is there any tips on it?... also why do they require soooo much space and then not even come close to filling that space lol

While we're on the subject of Gardens.... Does anyone know of a site with screenshots of the different types and variations? I'm not too keen on spending a fortune in resources making them if I have no idea what they will look like.

Gardens are pretty hard to place. My city is on Dantooine, so there are hills and I wanted to place a large garden in front of the City Hall, however because of a small hill on the corner of layout, made me mad but I placed a medium instead, doesn't look too bad. I wish a garden's layout would actually be the size that it comes out to be, but oh well I don't honestly care, not a big deal.

Just find the schematics for Deed:small-large gardens and the other exotic gardens. It will say Deed: Dantooine Meditation Area (Garden) as an example. It will show you all the pictures.

You can come to my city on Shadowfire galaxie, mos muerte on tat, I have a pretty good variety of tat style gardens as well as a couple of exotic gardens.

I'd seen these before but I couldn't for the life of me remember where...

What about Dantoine Gardens..we are trying to place a dantooine meditation area and tehre is plenty of room, and I have shecked in the overhead tht it is buildable space..why cant we place it? Is it bugged? If so do we know when it is going to be fixed? Forgive me if this topic has already been discussed...I am simply the city planner for my city and have not been in these forums before

Hey Novik, next time you're "passing thru" Vicimus on Naboo check out the Dantooine Meditation Garden behind the VVV PA hall. lol Maybe come visit covert. As one city planner to another I can understand the problems of placing these gardens. I remember when Okie placed ours that it had to have a huge area but he didn't have any problem placing it from any other large garden like the one with 2 fountains & the large gazebo. I think we were already at metropolis size but I could ask him to be sure.

Garden placement is tricky - like the Cantina deed seems to be. They lack the "depth" that houses now have to allow them to be placed in areas with inclines, etc.

I'm hoping they fix this soon - I've reserved a lot of space in the center of my city I would like to utilize with a variety of gardens.

How many lots do each garden take up?

they dont take up Lots per se as they are considered a player city structure. They do take up space and vary depending on their type and size (a small takes up 4x3 I believe). Hope this helps.
