My headaches will come, I've only criticaled on 1 Medium Home. I do critical fail alot on GP Modules for Torches, but thats nothing compaired to a PA Hall. I personally don't even bother with any Large structures, to much of a pain in the arsinal for an independant Architect like myself. I just refer business elsewhere.

This may seem strange, but it has been my experience that I get much fewer crits sitting in a camp out in the middle of nowhere. I think location may have a lot more to do with crits than people realize.


One time I tried crafting some ruby bliels on my home crafting station (only a +12, but Icrafted it) and could not make it through experimenting without a crit on at least a dozen tries. I picked up the station and dropped it on the other side of the room. I then proceeded to make about 10 ruby bliels without a single crit and quite a few amazings thrown. Of course, the next day, it started having crits again.


I think on any given day, you have to find the right spot to craft on or you will get a lot of crits. This sounds screwy, but I'm willing to try anything to avoid crits.

Last night I made attempting to make 36 wall modules for deep crusted chemical miners. I'm making them on a station with a 38 functional rating. I step away from the machine because the torches in the room lag me up, and my following 2 wall modules critical fail. I go back to the station and the rest are made without an issue. I was quite surprised to see that the station actually makes a difference given that I've read many threads disputing this. Anyway, think I'm doing all my crafting from my station until I start critical failing at the station.......thus rendering this post totally useless.

Folks:


I put up a macro in my tutorial and people have commented on it so I didn't feel I had to reiterate what was posted. But for now, you can use my macro and receive 0% crit failure. I know this will be fixed by development but until it is you might as well use it while you can.

Some master I am, crit fail and I can't even peice togather the parts. Where it really hurts is on the final combine of a combat R3droid, that has crap in him that cost me 20cpu, and it all goes poof. No parts, no nothing, just poof. I'm sooooo glad that the only dang way they can find a way to ballance the stinking game is by poofing every bit of hard work we put into something, not even any scrap, just poof.


Course, once it's finished, it can stay around forever to make sure we don't get any replacement sales down the road.


But I sure am happy they are thinking about giving us the ability to add another droid to the pad tho, weeeeeee, just what I need.

I feel your pain Critical falis on the final construct is enough to make you log for the day. However, on a personal note I'd like to add that on Monday I put together 134 droids and did not have one It wasn't even my birthday.
