Wow have prices started to go up? what servers are you guys on, I usually get a max of 12k for a small house, and even at that i get alot of complaints.

I ignore the complaints. As long as some people buy, I don't care about the ones that don't.

Do you have a vendor in a good location?

Are you advertised on the planetary map?

Do you send a "thank you" email to everyone that buys something from you?

Do you sell items (e.g., furniture) on the Bazaar with a description touting your "fully-stocked vendor"?

Is your vendor indeed "fully-stocked"?

Yes, there are people who really are broke (I don't know why but there are). Yes, there are people who absolutely insist on getting "the best deal", even if it takes them hours of looking at vendors.

Those are NOT your customers. *Your* customers know that they won't be disappointed if they swing by your vendor. They value convenience and "buy it now" over getting a rock-bottom price.

Last week I bought a large Naboo house from someone in front of the Coronet starport for 30k.

This was a great deal in and of itself, but then I looked at the deed and it has almost 130k of maintenance already on it!

If you're running your own harvesters andif you REALLYhave a good idea of ACTUALLYhow much it costs you to mine and the actual value of the resources you mined - you would know that you are making a decent profit at 3cpu and selling houses (REALISTICALLY) for 6, 8 10k isNOT really a give away as you may think. Do the math some day - you'll be surprised.

Running your own harvesters should have absolutely NO IMPACT on the pricing consideration. The output of those harvesters have some intrinsic value (i.e. they could be sold on the bazaar for some price)

Taking those resources and making them into something adds value.

If I mine my own resources and can sell them at 3 cpu, then why on earth should I accept 3 cpu for manufactured products? That means I am giving away my skills, my time and my labor.

In fact, if you consider the cost to operate factories, I'm actually LOSING money by making the resources into items instead of just selling the raw resources for 3 cpu.

(By the way, the "3 cpu" number is just an example - it may be more or less depending upon individual server economies)

20k sounds fair to me...I've spent more then that many times on guns and such...
A small house sould go for more then 10k.

Yow! All those 6k bazaar houses sold fast at 12k!

I might have to raise my prices again.

Hope the grinder keeps churning them out for me.

Interesting, I'll have to look into this myself. I've been selling at 10k/40k/130k.

Most people on Dantooine think 20K for a small house is cheap.

My alt is going for master arch, and id like to join everyone in keeping prices reasonable for architect income. This undercutting is completely ridiculous, and something needs to be done about it. Heres the beauty of having 2 accounts: INCOME INCOME INCOME! I can have dozens of houses stocked at any given second, and im going to use these 4-5 CPU price structures as most of you are. and I dont care how much money it takes, im going to keep it there to make a statement. I can be financially stable with the amount of money i make on my combat char.

I wont budge.Im not going to undercut, I wont even make a cent if I have to. If no one buys anything, if anyone whines about it, tough. I want people to know whats going on in the architect world.

I always make it a habit to check the bazaars of any city I go to and if I find the 6k houses, they are mine for resale at 12k a pop. I also do the same with 2k statues and with cheap peices of master furniture. The best one I have ever had was finding a BER13 Deep Cruster on the bazaar at Coronet for 6k!!

12k for smalls, 65k for mediums and 120k for Larges on Valcyn seems to be the norm.
