You guys are insane. You don't factor in criticals, time, an schematic costs. This is a permanent LARGE building. Selling them at

55768 + 6243 (for schematics, sure they have 100 uses but you usually dont have that much of the specific resources and lets say this covers srits as well) = 62011 resources

500000 / 62011 = 8.06 per resource.

Thats crazy I can make ALMOST that much by simply selling the resources. At master with no incentive for xp why in the heck don't i just mine the most desired resources, sell them in bulk. and not waste the insane amounts of time required to craft these things, oh yeah and save myself the lots on the factories means i can make even more from my harvesters.

200k??? Now you guys seriously are crazy. Plus you might as well get ready for all thanks coming from all over your server for crowding the surface off all the planets with guild halls for even 5 person PA's.

Now lets compund that with all the current bugs, like the crate bug, power core bug, admin structure bug, and your engaging in an exercise to beat your head against the wall.

Heres the guide i just put together so I could straighten it out in my own head. Oh yeah people will pay this much too, your letting the consumer dictate something thats in insane demand, WHY?

Do you guys have any idea how quickly a warrior type can make 200k in destroy missions? 20 creds a res is hardly anything to ask for the complex large structures like PA halls, weapon and armorsmiths are making 2 and 3xthat much! Heck the masters on Intrepid make 150 per res for a gun!!!!! If you need money for maint just make furniture/small med housesat 10-15 creds a res, you can mass produce those, don't really need a factory, and have just alleviated yourself of an extreme headache (well headache right now mainly cause of all the bugs)

On the tarquinas server forum, a person inquired about getting a PA hall, and one architect (his 6th post) posts that he will do one for 200k. The next guy said 400k, and the next post was from the one that started the thread.. "200k? will you be on tonight"

I saw this and made the 5th post.. "200k? I will take 5"

I do PA halls for 500k, and I crit failed my 3rd hall, which hardened me to not going cheaper. I had to build 2 factories, acheive master in 2 fields, and make schematics for multiple items, which as much as I would like to re-use them, the resource shifts prevent me from doing more than maybe 5 PA halls worth per schematic.. My costs are close to 70k resources overall, and I charge accordingly.

Here was a conversation last night.. I will use the name "customer" for the guy, since I dont remember his name..

customer: How much for a large house?

customer: ??????????????????????

me: 135k, but I am a little behind right now, so the soonest I could do it would be tuesday.

customer: 135k?? can you do it for 100k?? PLEEEESE!!!!!????

customer: ???????????????????

me: I am sorry, but I am struggling to keep up as it is, and if I critical fail one of these large houses, I will be losing money too.. I cannot go below 135k credits.

customer:OH come ON.. you are a rich architect, you can afford to sell me one for 100k!!!!! PLEASE!!!

me: No, I am at 3 credits per resource at that price, and if I sold my resources outright, I would make twice what I make now, I cannot go below 135k, sorry

customer: I know a guy that sells large houses for 100k.

me: go find him.

customer: OK, I will message you later if I decide

customer: is there a bigger house than large?

me: a PA hall.. 500k

customer: I will think about it.

about 10 minutes later:

customer: ok I want a large house

me: OK email me the specifications and I will put you on the list. Thanks!

customer: What specs??

customer:??????????????????????????

me: just send me a mail saying what size you want and what planet it is for. (I decided to not get into styles at this time..)

customer: OK.. I will email you

about 5 minutes later

customer: I emailed you for that house.. did you get it?

customer: ????????????????????????????

me: yeah, thanks!

customer: How about I pay you 200k to do it right now?

customer: ?????????????????????????????

me: (somewhat annoyed at the ???'s and the 200k after begging for a lower price) I have 8 customers in front of you buying medium and large houses. I would be happy to build a large house for 135k on Tuesday. I have you on the list, and if you find someone to do it for 200k tonight, just email me so I can take you off the list. Thanks!

I logged off after that.. it was too much for one night..

"evil just what class is it that you play? I've noticed you making several of these posts recently on the architect board and its pretty hard to believe you play an architect. I don't know you if think you can drive prices down by making these erroneous comments or maybe you are just trolling, but don't you think its pretty silly to tell a bunch of architects that all it takes to make a PA is "..just a bunch of tapping the mouse button type gimmick"? Those of us making them know better. I've decided to raise my PA price by 50k in honor of your efforts, heh.

I do play an architect. Sad part is, in all honesty, is that I've cancelled mysubscription to this game. I really, really liked this game but felt slapped inthe face by the way the structrured the economy. Everytime I got undersold by 1 credit a resource I folded and quietly brooded about where the future was heading.

It sucks, no doubt about it. The little bastids.. screw it. If I cant make a somewhat pathetic profit of my product.. no one cant.. thanks for stopping by.. drive through..
