Thread: Player cities = griefing tool?
Wow, interesting topic.....
Player cities....
Getting to an area first wont mean anything ( It certainly didn’t for the American Indians )
All that will matter is the number of people that declare residence and vote.
The upset this will cause will be tremendous, democracy is like that, look at California.
I realize that once they make player cities I just might have to move, on the other hand, talk to the other PA and all declare residence, elect yourself a Mayor and boot the interlopers out.
It is going to make for an interesting game.
Politics is never pretty.
If a player city needs a PA hall to exists (which it probably will) these things take up large spaces on the ground. And if the city then is a radius out from this PA hall, then there is a easy solution to anyone trying to hoard in on someone elses turf.
Placing harvester, factories wind gens and other things in a nice disorganized pattern in such a way that a PA hall can't fit between them. Personal harvesters are not overly costly to build, and they dont even have to be operational.
Their deteriation period os a couple of days i think. It might look ugly to have them strewn around your PA and houses and future city, but its a fix that is possible today.
And once player cities comes into play, they can be removed to clean up the landscape.
It may not be the best course of action, but it is a way to make sure no one else pushes you out.
