I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers those turret parts. I was beginning to think I was crazy there for a minute, nobody else seemed to remember building heavy turret implacements and heavy cannon mounts.

Hey, I've got nothing to complain about Architect. It was very good to me. I made some good choices, had a little bit of luck, and had a huge business. But everytime I see somebody complain about having to pay more than 100K for a heavy harvester (usually somebody who already has 50M in the bank) I want to slap them upside the head.

I think architects should be able to sell "house customization tools"

paint your house on both the inside and outside!

craftable turrets were something discussed on the GCW, large consensus was that weaponsmiths would make the "laser shooter thingie", armoursmiths would make the "protecter shielding covers" and architects would build the damn thing

My first real profession outside of the minor ones was architect... i got to 4-0-2-3 and gave up... because for one big reason, i wasnt making ANY money at all! i was losing money... ofcource this was before those big 10BER mediums came out, so i had those 2BER personal ones, but even now it would be barely break even, arch is harder than everyone thinks

Boberfett is 100% correct.

If you dont think he is, spend about 1million credits, grind out master arch in 45min, and work your butt off to break even.

I use to be an arch, retired and now I am a resource dealer. The arch's getting screwed effects me in a major way, i use to be able to sell millions of ore for 3cpu with out even trying... now i have reduced the price to 2cpu. Thats 33% lower, and the cost of maintenance/power is still the same to run the harvesters.

Im not big into the GCW so maybe i should just **edit** now, but I think that having the weaponsmiths make a small component, maybe even have a D.E. make a component, targeting system perhaps.... and have armorsmiths make an optional reinforcement would be a good idea... they give alll their stuff to the arch, and he/she puts in the rest... They should be hard to make, but worth it. Like I said though, maybe i am talking out my @$$.

Hehe, how about earthquakes Boberfett? Floods, Volcanos.... destroying houses/harvesters at random... im sure the Devs look at the maps and think they are playing sim city anyways... BRING ON THE TORNADOS BABY.
