What you could do is post on your servers trade forum and say that you are selling parts to order and list some prices. Then you can gauge interest that way.

I think the hybrid components may sell quicker, ie Power Core Units. This would be a convienience factor for the buying architect.
I have not seen much demand for power droids.

It wasn't clear from the OP whether he was a master triying to develop a market for components, or a rookie trying to make room for himself among the stiff competition.
If you are a master archit trying to enhance your sales in this manner, then I agree with Paulin; Good luck. I don't think any established archi will be willing to part with enough creds to make it worth selling them. We use so many of these components that we would have to obtain them relativley cheap. If you sell them cheap enough, you may be better off selling the ore, or houses. You see the conundrum?
If you are just starting out and need start-up capitol, then this is a pretty decent way to go. I think I have paid up tp 7k for each wall, but havent had much of an opportunity to continue the practice. One day's rookie is another day's master, you know.
By the way, another thing I have tried (along these same lines) is to buy small houses cheap from rookies and reelling them for a bit more. I sell small houses for about 10k, so I try to buy them for about 5-7k each. Though my houses sell slowly, they do sell; this arrangement also provides rookies with a bit of the capital thy need to buy heavies.

I wasn't refering to droids. My comment was in regards to components that need other components to make, ie power cores, walls, manufacturing mechs, micros sensor suites, ect.. Selling these hybrid components would more likely have a market since you are offering the purchaser convienience and saving him/her more time.

Definitely a market for a fair price, especially the sub-components that only a master artisan can make. I'd love to be able to give up some artisan skill points to use elsewhere. Unfortunately the only guy I know of on Bloodfin with energy distributors and power converters on his vendor wants 8k for a crate of 25

I just don't see a need as the desire for goods is very cyclical and not steady.
In the player cities days your could sell walls all day and night. Now the demand just isn't there.

On one end, a friend of mine suggested I do just that for money when I was wondering if my business would make it much longer. I didn't like the idea, because I want to build things, not build things that someone else uses to build things.
On the other, I've had a good weekend and even though I've kept my factories going since Friday making modules and walls, I'm thinking, "I wish I had some nice junior architect to buy walls from!"Though whether or not I could afford it might be another matter. It would probably drive my costs out of reach, and it's not like the new bazaar system is putting upward pressure on prices....

Thats what the apprentiship points were for. You need parts that you dont have time to make, a 0010 Architect has PLENTY of time and the energy to do that for you. He makes them you take them, you get App points when he levels because you train him. He doesnt have to pay x credits to pay a NPC trainer.
At least thats what I though the process was when I first bought the game.
But it turned out that your are supposed to shout in a Star Port until someone finds you.
What do I know...
