Well that is just the type of response I would expect to hear from the type of game you are shinobixtrem. I hope you and the others like you get what you deserve, a DB from the Bounty Hunters, over and over again. I just wish I could see it, all that grinding and grinding, over and over again, just to be hunted and slain down by the Bounty Hunters.

Actually I'm glad the statue is such an easy grind. Noone is going to sell all their statues so they are practicing. They aren't creating walls to sell or create some dirt cheap products that they will sell for 1cpu just to get some of their credits back.

3 hour MAs will not stay MA for very long, probably less than the 3 hours they took to grind it.

I don't believe the value is in the title of Master Architect - it's what you choose to use the skill for that is important. Any numbskull can grind to Master, but it takes commitment and spirit to stick with the profession.

Who cares that epople grind out statues and achieve Master only to drop it and brag about it? I prefer to take my time making things that are needed. I know I will get to Master and I will feel I've earned it.

I’m truly sickened by those JEDI GRINDERS asking for the cheapest and mindless ways to becoming the ultimate power gaming chess mongers. Those that say, what the fastest way reach master, I plan on dropping it 5mins after I reach, so tell me the secrets to make it the fastest. I’m just glad I haven’t seen yet some asking for the macro and what’s need to auto grind masters like I have in some of the other forums.

These grinder help us, they don’t hurt us? That’s pure BS. The fact they might provide cheap components for your wallets grow bigger, but it doesn’t help our Profession one bit, it only shines a light on the mockery that are making on our profession. If they learning from grind our profession, its how easy it has become to Master our elite-profession and little more. If they took with them an understanding of what it takes to do our profession, putting up with endless resources shifts, the nagging people wondering how much for this item and why it higher then X, but they don’t stick around to learn anything. They are in and out as quickly as they can, these people are in such a hurry to unlock the Force Sensitive slot they won’t even take the time to check the forums of that profession to see if anyone else has asked the question, let alone the brains to check the Jedi form which has a few guides with in the first few page on to how master every profession in the littlest time possible and some with the macro’s to do it so that they can be working towards it with out having to sit in front of there computer while they do it.

Yes, I am an Elitist when it comes to Elite Crafting Professions. I hold title of MASTER Architect, MASTER Droid Engineer, MASTER Armorsmith, MASTER Weaponsmith, MASTER Tailor, MASTER Chef to a high regard. I respect my fellow masters who have dedicated themselves to their chosen profession, but they also need to show that they have understanding of their profession. I have seen a few who have claim to be master on this forum and in game who don’t yet have no understanding of what it takes to be the master of their profession. Having the Title of Master X is meaningless if you don’t have the knowledge to back it up. The fact that one can grind to Master and have no knowledge to be an actual master proves the point of the value of what the Title means.

What is the true meaning of being a master of any profession, when it’s so easily achieved by anyone? The title becomes meaningless. Those that worked hard for it, it means something to them, yet its insulting when those who don’t even give a dam about the profession rub it in your face that what hard work you put was meaningless and invite others to do the same.

I plan to be very rude to each and every person who asks on this forum how to master this profession in shortest time. If they have nerve to mock this profession, they truly have it coming to them.

slightly disagree with some who say the holo chasers arent hurting out profession.

they get master in ridiculously insane time frames, will they give it up and then buy harvies off a commited architect?..like heck. while they have the skill they will make themselves or their mates a fleet of harvies, make some furniture for thier houses and then drop the skill..leaving us with one less customer..probably a very rich customer.

if they had to do weaponsmith or armoursmith..anything i suppose apart from tailor...yes they can do the same but after a short while decay or sales (food) will take whatever they made out of the economy..not so architect products.

exactly destryr!!!!!!!!!!

it is just like week 2 or 3 al over again.....

i am doing a good business and most prices have stabalized......but one again we have people selling small housesfor 4K and larges for 30.....undercutting just to make a quick buck or to be able to buy more grinding resources

it isnt just the hologrinders either.....once the populace finds out how easy it is to get constuction 4 or master for taht matter people might just spend the hour needed grind it out, build everything they and tehir buddies will ever need, then drop the skill in a couple of days...they can rinse and repeat this at will....i do something similar with other skills such as Master Artisan and Merchant....

The thing that bugs me is that this was allowed to go live off test center...something similar happened to CHs a couple of months ago and the uproar was enormous....

some of you are saying you dont care how long it takes some one to grind...well the truth be known i dont either but the grind is kind a check and balance system....only people who are seriuos will devote tehir time to it....even wil tons of resources and a macro running non stop, it still takes DAYS to master tailor...i think we architects might be just one step above and deserve better as a profession....as i said before, if people where getting master weapon smith in 2 hours the fix would have been in the next day....but as we have seen from the schematic mishaps and borked experimentation and wicky wack failure rates, archtiect is not really a priority...

you are also not taking into accout the ORE spawns....i really dont need hologrinders placing 10 harvetsors on a decent ore spot and using up all of it to carft and destroy statues

i think most of these new structures must be moved up the skill ladder...this is not inline with anything else in the game....dint we lose FACTORY XP because it was allowing people to reach master in a couple of days but somehow its now fine taht people can do it less time tahn it takes to watch Attack of the Clones

I think the hologrinders are affecting ALL professions, I see the master architect I work with haveing a heck of time even getting resources to fill any prders he might get these days, cuz all resources low and high quality are being bought up by the hologrinders. And I just wish they would destroy what they make, but they arent, right now on my server we have hologrinders selling statues for 1-3k apiece, and small houses for 3k, cant compete with that. So my architect friend is taking some time off of the game, I wonder if that is what the devs really wanted, to get rid of the casual gamer and have a utopian society of jedi chasers they can get to jump through hoops for them =(

When these "holocron grinders" move up the architect tree with a macro, they simply do it for one reason , to unlock their FS slot. Now consider the items that they are probably not going to make, yes, not going to make. To get the maximum amount of exp per item crafted, they are going to practice the whole time, thus not flooding the market with the same materials we craft.

However, there is just one concern, and that is the people that are grinding though , that are not trying to achieve their FS slot. But even still, there is a low percentage of people who want to be an architect because they like to build things that are grinding through it within 6 hours.

I think your anger is displaced; and the reality is that these "holocron grinders" will not be sticking with the profession long, let alone , flooding the market with their "grindwares".

Careful Zhuga , the game is still young ... please dont challenge the Devs. I used my first Holo and got Master Chef i was going to grind through it using macros and stuff because i wanted to get it overwith fast but after some time and thinking i just said the hell with it and kept Master CH / Medic and started working my Doctor trees , it all comes down to what makes the game fun for you. For me it's the CH profession and i'm not going for the SOE ploy of evil for Jedi .. yet .. maybe when i'm bored i will. The point is .. do whats fun and what you enjoy. I'm here on the boards looking for MA's on the intrepid server to ask about a house and furnishings. I look on these boards because you get a feel for who the good MA's are so if you have a great reputation on a server then people like me will find out about you and come looking while ignoring all of the Hologrinders. God forbid i ask a hologrinder to decorate my house i'll end up with a Simpsons home decorated with Heavy Metal furishings.

I'm of the opinion its affecting almost every profession at the moment, cruise any of the other boards and you'll see a half dozen postsasking "Fastest way to grind to master while AFK?".

The economy is even more so in flux now because of it, hopefully it will settle down eventually. Until then almost every crafter is going to have to rely a lot more on relationships with his customers and reputation.

I'm a master architect, I like it, and will stay so. They arent taking any of the fun away from me, even if the flood of holo-grinders is affecting my sales. But the market has always been tight as long as I've been in it, and I doubt once most of them see just how expensive it is to craft in this profession versus the actual profit that they will stay very long.

But, once again, everyone else gets affected by perhaps the stupidest quest path in mmorpg history.
