An often asked question that no one has answered yet .....
a) What happens when the merchant (with a merchant tent in place) drops that level 4 ?
b) What happens when he drops merchant altogether (like so many people do) ?
Have fun

A merchant tent is not a vendor but you can place vendors in them if you have the ability (i.e. Business 3 or higher) They take 1 lotand hold 75 items like a small Naboo house. You can also declare them as a residence. You must be have Efficiency 4 as a Merchant to place them. However a Merchant can place them and then transfer ownership to you.

I heard from the merchant forum this doesn't work. The person that you are transferring too has to have efficiency 4.
Also, when you get Efficiency 4 and place your tent....you can drop Efficiency 4 and keep the tent - same as vendors.

Are merchant tents a structure anyone can set? How many items can they hold? and finally how many lots do they require?
Thank you for answering these questions

Just like for houses, for each lot that the house uses, it can hold 75 items up to the cap of 250. So a merchant tent can hold 75 items since it uses a single lot.
