Thread: BER14's are now possible
Here's a hint. Duralloys with 990 average in HR/SR/UT just aren't that common.
HOWEVER! Only 1 entry on HMMI's is for steel. The other three slots say metal. You know all that iron that you usually ignore, but does have HR/SR/UT averages of 990 or better? Go get it. OMU's may have 3 steel slots but they still have one generic metal slot.

do you guys experiment one point at a time or all the points at once?
thanks for any help

I agree that an amazing during the experimentation of the OMU seems necessary in order to make BER7. The steel I was using had one property at 981(remember this is the new magic number, not 980 as some are suggesting) the others where 990 and 996. Maybe with that 981 a bit higher you might get it every time, maybe not.
Whats the conscensious on the final build, good quality steel metal required or not ?
On pricing I agree that 250k seems a good mark, with 13's going for 110/120 on my server. We only just got this steel a week ago and it's the only spawn that Valcyn has ever had that makes the grade so I won't be selling cheap!!

Did anyone test a 980 metal?
980 * 1.02 = 999.6
Depends on if they round up or not. I think youre probably right cause they tend to truncate numbers rather than round up.

I noticed something odd w/ OMU's, probably w/ all mining components. If you don't get amazing success, it stays at ber6. Next tries when I got amazing success, exact same steel, hit ber7. Both ber6 and ber7 said 99%, just w/ the ber6 it was always just great successes. Plus being 12pts, I cap the OMU's before points are used up, yet they end up different? Shouldn't happen. Bad SOE.
